This might not be for everyone - as I don't personally know what the expansions are like or if they are worth it, for people only interested in the main game, I think this is it's lowest price, certainly that I can remember. However, the Champion edition is @ £8.99.

If you are wanting the game + expansions it's priced at £18.99 at Steam. I personally will wait for expansions to be cheaper - no doubt they will be by the time I start this.

"Prepare to be enchanted by a world where the choices you make and the paths you choose shape your destiny. Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of Fallout: New Vegas and South Park: The Stick of Truth together with Paradox Interactive is proud to present Pillars of Eternity.

It's a good deal for this game, but I can't say the game is that great, at least it doesn't compare favourably to the great isometric RPGs of ye olde. The combat is great, though, so all a sequel really needs is deeper backstory and level design. Since I mentioned it, the level design is quite hideous, probably the biggest problem of the game for me. It almost feels like a text RPG with an interface when you are in the maps but not fighting, it's completely pointless.

Yeah, I have been holding off for a long time on this, primarily because I have D:OS and it's sequel to play through, but this appears to be the first time the price has dipped from £8.99 in a while and I figured I could give it a go at that price - half the price of a cinema ticket.
There is a sequel on it's way, although I haven't followed much of it's development.
Thanks for your info!

Interesting that. Combat may very well have been my least favourite bit of the game, I kept playing because I wanted to finish the story. Character development of your party is largely garbage though, didn't bother finishing a lot of the party member related side quests.

Solid deal though. Heat!

I would have to disagree with you. I would say any interested buyer, for this price, just go for it and make up your own mind. Also watch out for the sequel which looks to fix a lot of the flaws and add some new interesting mechanics.

I agree with you there, definitely worth a punt at this price.

How you finding Divinity:OS? I've got it on the ps4 and love it only bit i find a wee tad annoying is the camera. Just finished up the mirror crypts just outside of Cyseal. Heading to the old church tonight with the other half....can't wait!

Absolutely loving it! The soundtracks are amazing... haven't been listening to them on loop for ages
I like the camera, maybe being able to rotate the camera another 90 degrees would help at points but on the whole I think it works.
Have fun at the church
