if anyone is wondering i got the gears one.

15.4" only I assume.

you sure it wasn't the flower one

What poundland was this in thanks

Does anyone know how easy they come off again?

Would be cool if these cut cleanly to customise for all the netbooks people have bought recently due to deals on here.

LOL...I'd need to buy the Bubbles one, to disguise all the air bubbles I'd have after trying to get it on

i got it from the poundland in wood green, my laptop is 17" and it fit it ( i had to cut it to fit though), and if you apply it right then you should get very few bubbles (i have 2).

if anyone could pick me up a handful of these, id be very greatful, and pay postage on top. PM me if so.

Would be greatly appreciated.

if anyone could get me the metal floor type (1st row, 3rd one) one i would appreciate it greatly, and will cover the cost of the item and postage

Hi,
if you use something like a ruler to pull along behind the plastic cover as you stick, you shuld be able to apply bubble free!

Who's the pimp??? ;-)

Hi im going to look in my local poundland if they have one I will get it for you, will let you knowwhen I get back!

Spray some warm water on the back of the sticky with a tiny bit of fairy liquid in it. You should be able to remove the bubbles & move it about before it sticks properly after a few mins

what a cool find! Thanks!

This is the preferred method of application, I once had to stick safety film to the inside of every window in a huge mansion. Best way is to put the soapy water into a spray bottle and just spray a little onto the sticky side of the film. Apply the sticker and you can move it into place then squeegee out the water, leave it for a couple of hours and its stuck perfectly with no bubbles

I find baby shampoo and water to work best... as the washing up liquid kinda sensitive to my skin.

I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want to stick a vinyl on their laptop though....

Especially when you take it off... leaves horrible marks.....

these do looks very tacky for the record. but for a quid what do you expect.

ah I'd like the rose or sand and shell one, will have to try and get to a store Tue if they haven't all sold out, thanks

want the parasol one!!

Re Poundland, there were a handful left at the Wandsworth branch, limited designs, but some metalwork, roses, parasols, bubbles, zebra, and sky ones left.

Got the last Safe one! :-)

Now just got to eat my way through the vast amounts of toblerone I bought at the same time

(Also, have a look out for Cadbury's Bournville Old Jamaican Run and Raisin - lovely!

Heat added.

...alternatively, and apologies if this is blatantly off-topic/site, if you want to use your own image, and have a reasonable A3 printer, do a search for A3 Inkjet Printable Self-adhesive Vinyl - it's available on various sires for about £6.50 for four sheets.

I say A3, as A4's a bit too small for my laptop, but A4 may do for a netbook I guess.

Anyway, just a thought if you've been tempted by this and either aren't close to a Poundland or don't think the designs are much cop.

Can see them on ebay now :-( I went to the Glasgow city centre Poundlands to get one for my niece, only the "seashell" design left. There was one "zebra" one but somebody had ripped it open and nicked it!!

I went to my nearest poundland and they didnt have any :(. Thank you Poundland, you wasted a few of my pounds.
