The Pineapple Express, directed by David Gordon Green, stars Seth Rogan, James Franco and Danny R. McBride.

Lazy stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express.

But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city's most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. But the weed is so rare that it can be traced back Saul. Dale and Saul have to run for their lives as the bad guys are hot on their trail! All aboard the Pineapple Express.

Dont agree. Thought the film was very funny. Certain parts had me in laughing fits.

Is it worth £5.99 though :?

remember the days when indie movies enjoyed a cult underground following? thats when one would slip out into the radar and everyone would realise theyre actually quite good? pulp fiction, trainspotting, 200 cigarettes, go?

this is not one of those films. in fact this is one of the worst films i have ever seen.

Agree, overrated nonsense. Not memorable at all, just another comedy with an overplayed weed theme (a subject that's proved hilarious elsewhere - making this movie void of any worthyness)

Not worth downloading and keeping, let alone £6 on a piece of plastic.

This really isn't a film worth owning, once you've seen it the chances of wanting to watch it again are none to slim.

So this is a DVD yeah? Maybe update the title? I've only ever seen Blu-Rays came with digital copies.

Any way, I don't really care to be honest - crap film. Besides, it's 11.99 now
