I'm guessing that delivery is £5.99 + vat (£7.04 inc). If anyone knows differently let me know and I'll ammend the details.

what are these like . are they quick for internet surfing or are they dead slooow!

why would it be slow?

The processors are small, but efficient. It's the same as any other modern PC.

I posted this as a deal but someone pointed out it was a duplicate, so here are the details:

ASUS Eee PC 700 2G Surf - £164.49 + £5.99 p&p
Blush Pink
Linux Preloaded
7" TFT screen
2GB solid state HD (360MB is free out of the box)
512MB DDR2 (non upgradeable)
Intel Mobile CPU
1 Year Warranty

I know some people object to ordering from Saverstore, but that aside this is a good deal for those interested in a cheap EEE 700 and is the lowest price currently available for the 2G Surf.

However things to note:
This is an old model now (superceeded by the EEE 900 range and beyond and other competition).
There are almost as cheap PCs available if either performance or having Windows OS is more important than size and value.

More information available on the EEE 700 here: ]http//en…_PC

It's worth waiting as the Acer Aspire One and MSI Wind should both be out soon.

Rumors are the Acer will be ~£200 and have a 9" screen 1.6ghz atom and 8gb SSD.

theres also a new Dell coming out but no specs on that yet.

I was all hyped up for the Asus 900 and 901 releases but then heard about other offerings and so decided to wait.

Here's almost no extra info on the forthcoming Delli :-D one...
