Appraisal of post-Syd Barrett Pink Floyd's 1971 album 'Meddle'. Meddle is still considered top be the first album without Syd Barrett to really work as a whole. with a fantastic crew of insiders including John 'Hoppy' Hopkins; founder of the UFO club and guitar legend Andy Roberts who played with Floyd plus excellent archive performance footage we explore the album both Gilmour and Mason saw as the true beginning of Pink Floyd.

The purists amongst us will claim that this was their defining album, with Echoes serving as the launch pad for what was to follow with Dark Side......

Apart from Echoes the rest of the album is rubbish.

Youve obviously never spent many months as "Shed Man", restoring a motorcycle!

According to PF, Andrew Lloyd Webber ripped off Echoes and turned it into the main theme for Phantom of the Opera. Listen and they do have a point. It's the DA DA DA DA DARRRR bit in case you're confused.
