I was in Tesco Springburn tonight (11pm) and spotted these pink canopies in the clearance section in homewares. Lots of them there tonight. These have been discountinued on the website, so stock will vary between stores I would imagine. I was pleased to see these as I was actually looking to buy this a few months ago, when they were out of stock on website and then went discontinued. Very happy to get it at a great price too!

Good price but those with little ones be cautious as a very similar canopy from Ikea has just been recalled as the long fabric poses a strangulation risk to young children x

Eek. I was wondering about this. Not sure I'd trust my littl'uns. But good price for older girlies!

Yep was just going to post the same. It looks like it could be very dangerous for younger children. Lovely to look at but not very practical. But good price if you want one.

I clicked onto this for that exact same reason. So how come Tesco aren't recalling them and refunding like Ikea are? It does seem silly to me, a bit like the blind thing. Surely its just common sense not to put a baby next to a blind cord, same as you wouldn't put these canopy's over a baby/toddlers bed either. It seems to me that some people just want to blame someone else, rather than except it may be their own fault.

I'd like one of these for MY bed, but as our bedroom is already very pink and feminine I don't think himself would appreciate it!

I agree, I certainly wouldn't be using this over a cot or a toddler's bed, but my wee girl is 4 now and will be delighted to have this over bed.

had one as a teenager and waking up to that on your face in the middle of the night is quite scary! look pretty tho!
