Good offer..just spent £2.50 for about 6 Pink Ladies in Asda!!

I love Pink Ladies

If I'm having apples though, I only eat Braeburns.

I love pink ladies but Asda do a bag of basics apples about 88p, I tried them last week and they tasted exactly like pink ladies (much smaller though). Dont know if they use the same apples in their basic pack all the time though.
Voted hot.

these are £2.49 BOGOF at sainsbury's so I will have to cold vote you sorry

lol that is such a random comment, surely it shouldn't matter which store the fruit is coming from as to what it tastes like, the majority of stores get their fruit from the same wholesaler.

Fruit normally Tastes different when it is supplied via different countries... ie Pink Lady's always taste best when they come from Australia - not south africa or New Zealand.

South African Royal Gala's come "close" to a pink lady for there sweetness.

Rip off, get down your local market and buy them for less than half of that. Support your local traders!

What about the handling and packaging though, I guess thats why I only buy fruit from M&S or Waitrose. I am not a snob, I shop elsewhere too!

Pink lady apples are grown on Waitrose's own Leckford estate in Britain. They do not supply any other supermarket.
