How come?
Nokia 8 for £299 looks like a fairly good deal if you can get the 10% off.

At first Google maps didn't work, I use it pretty frequently so it was a big deal.
Then I realised that Netflix doesn't play in HD, which wasn't as big of an issue but still annoying nonetheless. Lastly, Bluetooth, anything connected to Bluetooth seemed to cause sync issues in video. Tried multiple pairs of headphones too, most with aptx HD. Was the best phone I've ever owned apart from those issues, these maybe limited to me too, potentially a faulty device. That being said, a lot of people had the Google maps issue too, and other Bluetooth issues.
There seem to be a few problems with the GPS on Huawei phones; lot of people reporting issues with Strava and Google Maps. I half arsedly looked into it 'cos a friend was struggling with Strava and my dad was looking at getting a low end Huawei (he uses Viewranger a lot).

Not sure whether the issue was ever solved or not, but it was definitely there. Likely not a big deal for most.

My Mate 10 Pro has been flawless with GPS. Google assistant though...

I haven't had an update in a while, bur from what I know, none of the recent ones really resolve anything.
Anyone seen this phone in action? When watching video does a black bar cut the notch out or does the vid just play around it?
