Just seen this deal on Richer Sounds website

It is only available in certain stores but the full specs are in the link. Thought this was a great price for an airplay speaker. It also has bluetooth, USB and other inputs.

Cheapest I can see elsewhere is £99. Has decent reviews...

Yes it does

we got this free with a HTC one when it was first launched, it has never worked properly drops signal all the time very difficult to get working right in the first place. really would not bother spending even £4.95 on it

The bluetooth connection say HTC connect only so might be limited to people with a HTC phone / device.

I have the A3 version which I bought for £85, it works brilliantly over airplay connected to my wifi haven't tried bluetooth though.

so does this have a screen on it that you can access Spotify on?

I'm thinking your screen will be your phone or tablet?

Yep using airplay or dlna

I bought one of these about 3 months ago from Richer Sounds. Could not get it to connect to iphone, ipod or ipad. Back to the store where they also tried and still no joy. Full refund so beware.

I dont get these spotify compatible systems . Could some 1 explain how it works . My thinking is you just play spotify on your phone and any blue tooth speaker should be able to pick it up ? I guess I must be wrong ?

It uses Spotify Connect which, as far as I understand, is like Chromecast where your phone/tablet/computer will tell the speaker (rather than TV) the 'stream', and the speaker then fetches the stream itself. You can then turn off whatever you started the album/playlist/whatever and it will continue, and you can change that playlist from anything else with Spotify on, so long as you're logged in.

I'm sure I could have worded that better but hopefully you can understand.

I got the Cambridge Audio Minx Go from Richer Sounds a few months back for £90 and it's excellent.

Yes , many thanks for taking time . I have bought the daughter an azatom stealth air 2 , which i think has spotify on and put it away for xmas .However I was unsure how the spotify thing worked . So thanks for taking time , appreciated .
