Looks like it has 2 optical inputs.

I brought this for £299 from JL and it's great value, looks great and very discrete.

No HDMI in on the Pioneer unit, which may be important for console users. This unit looking at the remote and onscreen menu is clearly a LG rebadge. For £50 more this provides the 2 xHDMI in direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx On second thoughts, don't go for the LG... avforums.com/for…tml

What would the scenario be if one were to use this system with an xbox and virgin media? I take it you would you have to connect optical cables from the set top box and console to this unit and would always have to have this unit on at all times? Are there any downsides to this? I've read that sometimes audio and video get out of sync in this scenario. At home we have got a tx-p42g20 and an xbox and virgin media.

The fact that this system supports dlna and mkv via ntfs usb is very attractive.
