does this play mp3's?

No i dont think it does. Still a good deal though

It will play directly from your mp3 player or ipod/iphone.

don't think it's 35w RMS says it is 22 w RMS online

Good price..you can't go wrong with a pie in the ear!!

I had this in an old car.

It doesn't play MP3's on disc but will play your own home made audio discs fine.

Good clear sound and nice bass if thats what your after. Well worth this money

dagnammit, have got to stop spending money

Good brand, but no USB. Thats a turn off for me really

been searching everywhere for a cheap good cd player after mine broke and drained my car battery and just miss out on this one, if anyone sees another deal please post

Go for one with Bluetooth and mp3 I picked a cheap warfedalr thing for misses car has Bluetooth dialing etc and was only 30 on eBay recon. Sounds perfectly fine too.

What do you expect for a good branded stereo for around £30?

There is not likely to be much of a comparison for quality between a Wharfedale car stereo and a Pioneer. W make some good speakers (I know - my 5.1's in the living room are theirs) but the rest of their products are pretty low rent, they are just abusing the name. I have a car stereo from this Pioneer range, not this exact same one but similar, the sound quality is excellent, my criticisms would be that it is fiddlier to control than it need be (they've tried to minimise the number of buttons on it and probably gone too far), and it isn't as good looking as it is in the picture, once it is in your car, there are rather too many edges for my liking.
