Meant to click hot but it went to -9  Hot for me good price.

why cold votes?

this is a awesome dvd player (for the price bracket) and ive voted hot
was on scan deal a few months ago as well (cant remember price)

Has the deal ended as I can not find it at that price on the Scan site>?

I agree amazing DVD player, plays Divx perfectly, upscales really well and works with every DVD-R I have put in it.
My previous Pioneer worked for years of faithful service without a problem and I fully recommend them.....unlike the Phillips DVD player I tried that skipped on most disks or refused to play them, and the depth of the unit was non standard so it stuck out of my tv stand.

Great buy was over £120 last Xmas. This player is especially good to those who buy SACDs.

No the deal will end at noon on Monday, just click my link and scroll down slowly and look for it, also you will need to add it to your basket from there.

Wouldn't you be better with an xbox 360 arcade for £50-£60 more. Don't the newer ones come with HDMI and doesn't the latest dashboard play divx?

Thanks for that.

Nice player indeed.

But I can't understand why someone who wants to play Divx files doesn't go for a machine with a USB port on it, far more convienient than burning the files to disc every time.

Also, I think nealr £90 is a lot to pay for a DVD player really. Someone mentioned SACD, my old Sony had it but it's not exactly a popular format!

I recently bought a Philips 5980, am so impressed with it, upscales to 1080p, Divx, USB, etc etc etc, all for £52 delievred. Even used my £2.50 HUKD voucher on the order! Thanks guys!

I guess people are too lazy to look for it - and therefore think its not there....

Black Night the DV-600 DOES have a USB port on the front, and if you want to save money go for the DV-400 which is nearly the same but no SACD.

I tried a number of cheaper units with poor remotes and problems playing DVD-R, this is the best and well worth the few quid extra. In fact I purchased 2!

I didn't notice the USB, this should be added to the description as it's a great selling point.

Still, I think £90 is steep for a DVD player, not disputing that they are a good brand though.

no doubt this is a good price for the make - i bought a divx upscaler (1080p) from ebuyer for £40 several months ago now with hdmi out and very pleased with it - i will have to update with the make later.
I can't help but think though that in another 6 months or so there will be a blu-ray divx player, profile 2 about such as the Daewoo one - first link i found : blu-ray.com/new…480 - so might be worth waiting ?

Found it and now ordered , just need a new telly to go with it now
