Big discount on this mamouth!!! Don't know how many people would actually want a 9.1 (it's a 9.2 actually as it has two sub outs) but I am sure someone would like one!

Check out the back! priyantha.nl/fot…jpg

Price includes delivery and discount from Best Buy. There is also Quidco of about £25.

You would want at least a £3K/£5K speaker package to get the most out of this amp, anything less a waste.

What a beast

That would be the AV Forum standard response to "how much should I spend on speakers" but I would suggest it very quickly becomes a law of diminishing returns especially when you have a very capable receiver providing an excellent quality output.

How much would you suggest I should have spent on 5 speakers to hook up with a £2400 Yamaha DSP-Z7?

Great amp you have there, was looking at that myself a while back when it was i think £4500 or was that another top yamaha av amp Z9 Z11, if i had that amp i would spend about £1K on sub, £2K at least on main, £500 Centre and about £1K on Rears or £2K on 2 sets if needed, etc etc, my amp was only £1500 when i bought it, and i spent about £2K on speakers and £500 on sub, im still happy with it at the moment.

What im really trying to say is, on a quality amp dont skimp on the speakers, but if you have that Z7 amp you should know that.

Its all about the sound!!

But my Yamaha 667 has the opportunity of 9.2 It has a zone 2 option which can be used as 9.2 instead adding more height or width to the fronts.

Excellent find! Im running 9.2 and it really is awesome!! Be warned this amp is the weight of a small car!!!

Onkyo eat your heart out.....Phwoor.

There is a LAN for that me thinks... This RS 323 socket is bugging me, anyone know exactly what it does!? I am intrigued!

My advice get the Yamaha DSP-Z7 if you can find one.

It's for the RF Adapter as the system uses a RF remote.
You can read about it in the manual here:
The Pioneer Manual

There's also an app for Android and IOS for controlling this baby. Details here:
iContralAV2 application

It arrived already! That's impressive from Best Buy.

Beware that for some reason known only to them, Pioneer stick stupid plastic plugs in the Banana Plug sockets.....Very annoying to have to extract them one by one with a sharp object.

For integration with computer controlled home cinema systems - e.g. Crestron.
