Gets pretty good reviews on most sites and the cheapest I could find it was £139 or £149. I’ve just bought two to set up a basic ATMOS system.

How can you use this for Atmos? Or do you mean you’ve just added extra speakers to give more surround sound, surely it can’t decode actual atmos at this price?

Hi. It doesn’t. You will need an Amp that does. You will need 2 extra speakers to have Atmos.
Cheap for what they are. Powered 100w sub and max 150w input per speaker. Link to manual:

superfi.co.uk/ima…PDF
I paid around same for mine and there really good. 2 sets to set up atmos surely they wont make a diff will they
Looks good for the money.

Otherwise wait and see if the logitech z906 drops to £140 again at Easter, they sound fantastic for the money and can decode dolby 5.1 etc
Assuming you need an amp to run these?
Sold and fulfilled by Hughes now?

Have Game sold out since this deal was posted?
Looks identical to the Xbox 360 styled surround sound Pioneer did about 10 years ago. I had a set. Decent enough for the money.
Delivery is an extra £4.99 - Sold and Fulfilled by Hughes

Ah okay. I missed that this was just a speaker package. Makes sense.
So I bought a Nakamichi hi fi in the early 90s and had a couple of Mission 770 speakers.
For the last 20 yrs my hi fi has sat in a cupboard and the speakers are basically trashed.
Would this speaker system be OK to use with this Nakamichi separates system?
I'm not sure because of the 5.1 mentioned.

While the logitech’s are good, they really can’t be compared to a dedicated amp with a 5:1 setup. I had these speakers for a while, paired with a pioneer amp. Wonderful budget speakers.
For those looking for a budget amp to pair with these, I can recommend this: Pioneer VSX-531-B 5.1 AV Receiver with Bluetooth amazon.co.uk/dp/…M3F

No good for Atmos, but otherwise excellent
Looks nice. Only really need a sub though. Anyone seen any good deals on sub woofers for under £100? (Have KEF kht-1505 satellites with an old Sony sub.)
I recently upgraded from this system, with a Yamaha RX-V375. It has been a fantastic system and sounds fantastic for the money. I paid about this much from Richer Sounds about 3 or 4 years ago and cannot fault them.
OOS
Paid this about 8 years ago from richer sounds. Basic quality. Ok for starting a home cinema setup.

I would suspect the Nakamichi would be only 2 channel stereo output so would be unsuitable for this speaker package. If you weren't particularly attached to it I would test it still works then sell through eBay or list on AV forums as there would be significant demand for this as they were incredibly well built. The speaker drivers could be replaced if required but alternatively sell and you would most probably get a pretty substantial return that could be put towards a new full surround sound amp and speaker setup.
Just been refunded by GAME with no explanation.
Was looking at these on Richer Sounds at £139.99, got excited there for a moment but ..............Sorry, this product is currently out of stock, but might be available in store

This is a Sub for £100 with 5 free speakers that you can just throw away
I miss my surround sound system I used to have on my TV. I went for the top of the range curved Samsung soundbar and sub to go with my curved QLED. It's very decent sound, but doesn't compare to a true surround sound speaker set up in terms of immersion. Heat of course

What speakers have you upgraded to? I have the RX-V375 paired with the Yamaha NS40 Speaker System but the Centre Speaker is crackling now and needs replacing. I'm wondering whether to just replace the centre speaker with something else as the Sub and other speakers are fine and do a good job or replace the whole speaker system. Limited by a budget of around £150 - £200.
It is a crisp clear sound.

I mainly upgraded the amp because my old yamaha didn't do 4k or hdr and I needed more hdmi inputs.

I now have a Denon AVR-X3400 and Monitor Audio MR2 5.1 AV. The centre speaker from my new package is usually around £70 I think, but it is much larger than the centre in this pioneer package.

Honestly I think this Pioneer set is fantastic for the money.

These are great for the price, and yes the sub alone usually sells for £100, but there is absolutely no reason to chuck the rest or the package.

Get a cheap second hand receiver that will do 5.1 and a set of these speakers.
Good speakers I had them myself for 5 years
