Just saw the other deal was attracting heat @ £75.60 so I thought I'd check out Honest John's suggestion from the weekend paper. Indeed, they're £7 cheaper a corner.

Worth having a browse on Tyremen, I feel - you'll no doubt see a few decent deals.

Bear in mind these are (both deals) V speed rating and personally I'd be inclined to go WYZ for a few £s more.

Two or free weeks ago stapletons(rsr wheels) garage had 25% off pirelli. For 3 tyres with all normal small charges related with changing tyres i paid 180 quid for 195/55/15

The more common size 205/55/R16 are £10 cheaper too. Not that I would use Pirelli again.

I'm quite a fan of Pirelli Scorpions, if you haven't used them, give them a try. They handle everything that the weather can throw at you - cheap @ Tyremen as well, I note

not so sure for me, 235/40/18's are far cheaper imported from Germany via ebay, which seems wrong but hey ho..

I've had Pirelli tyres on two cars previously and both suffered with deformed/misshapen tyres, a mate is a tyre fitter and said he's seen loads like it over the years. Whether the problem is completely fixed or not, I've lost faith in them and would rather spend elsewhere.

Fair enough, my wife had P6s for years and never had a problem. ISTR P5s before that.

The other thing I noticed was that the fitting service is quite expensive with Tyremen. My local boys are good as gold & would remove my old tyres and fit & balance these for £5 a corner, after all it's only 20 mins work.

So I'd personally opt for delivery only and find somebody local (NOT Halfrauds! ;-) ) who would fit them for less than half the price.

Just a word of caution. Like many online sites this one is no better when entering a reg number and it offering a selection of tyres........ badly. Check also the load rating as it can give options which are lower than the manufacturers original specifications (most often on large/mpv type vehicles).

Plus fitting at around £12.50 each at most tyre fitters = £80

Tyretraders.com £77 fitted.

I posted the other deal.

Have some heat!

Mine would fit them properly for about £20 if you're a regular.
