I prefer the loose ones they sell - remove shells on the way to the checkout, take your time and you get a lot more nut for your buck !X)

I find the loose ones are good for one week but next weekend I buy them and there stale!

Do they do unsalted ones?

Yep unsalted same price, lovely too, the loose ones tend to go stale and are salted

The unsalted is the best for me. Although salt should enhance flavour but for pistachios, especially these ones , taste sweeter and more flavoured when unsalted. I have had the loose ones a couple of times. They are salted and becomes oxidised the longer that huge sack is left opened. I would recommend the pre-packed unsalted.

This is a good price. Unsalted ones are in blue bags.

You have to keep them sealed in a clipped bag and if they go soft put them in quite a hot oven on a baking tray for 10-15 mins.

was passing Lidl and needed some ice-cream for kids to make a milkshake - saw these and bought some before seeing it on here as they were so cheap. I can confirm they are very nice too! Hot from me

I have seen people eating the wares from the hot deli counter or a cake before they get to checkout!

I would never do such a thing before anyone gets the impression I do!

If you see me pull out the picnic basket, the picnic mat and the silver cutlery in the aisles . . . please do come and say hello . . .
