Few people have been asking for deals on the new Pixel 2. Thought this was decent considering there's a good amount of data included in the plan, if you order before the release on Thursday, you also get a FREE Google Mini (Worth £49).

£35 per month x 24 = 840

£135 upfront

Google Home Mini (worth £49 in Carphone Warehouse)

Total cost overall = £975

Fantastic phone with a 2 year warranty. Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL share pretty much the same features. The Pixel 2 screen is HTC and Pixel 2 XL is made by LG.
Personally I prefer the 2 XL but without question in my mind the Pixel series is thebest Android experince with Android updates gauranteed for 3 years.

£629 sim free
£975 this deal

quality phone though

yep edited, thanks

Terrible! 5gig for nearly £30?

BT themselves have 20gb for £21 on 12 month... That's the first alternative I saw which isn't even that good...

Dunno how you working out the nearly £30.

Sim Free =£629
Contract total cost = £975 ~(not taking into account the £49 free Google Mini)
That would make the airtime part £346/24= £14.42. Personally think it's ideal for those who can't afford to pay £629 upfront.
Below BT deals as contract.

I was going on the calcs quoted above at £28...
If people can't afford to stump up £600 in advance, then I don't think they should be paying £500 pa for a phone...

So if your saying the airtime is £30 quid a month does the phone work out to only £5 per month plus the £135 upfront fee?

Your BT example comes to £1133 over 2 years. £21 per month plus £629 for the phone.

Please read above, I was comparing on the other blokes incorrect calcs for SIM only...
And the £21 is for 4x the data pcm..

No headphone Jack, No thanks Google.

Terribly overpriced phone tbh, checked both in currys today and I'm totally unimpressed. The white/black XL has some cheap plastic very similar to the Nexus 5X.

Its not plastic. Its metal covered by a textured finish, hence the reason it cant be charged wirelessly.

Looks like a great practical phone tbh.

Textured is the all black one, kinda matte. The white one feels like a $50 chinaphone plastic, dunno what's the material underneath but feels terrible.

Would much prefer an S8 for the price, even if it does mean dealing with Samsungs terrible length of support.

Very expensive phone with No Displayport alt mode over USB C so cannot connect direct to TV or monitor . Cannot be used as computer like Samsung and Huawei phones

Seems like you can produce any phone nowadays with remotely decent specs and stick a £600+ price tag on it

Suffers from screen burnout as it burn out its early adopters .

It's burn-in, not burnout.
