Google Pixel 2 XL | Vodafone | £100 upfront (with 10OFF code) | 4GB data | Unlimited mins and texts | £23pm
Wow! Mobiles.co.uk just came forward with some prices on the Pixel 2 XL that beat anything that’s come before on the massive handset - it’s even cheaper than the smaller version of the phone now. Here you have to part with £100 upfront (after using our exclusive 10OFF discount code) but then it’s only £23 per month. That’s incredible for a phone as good as this one and you don’t even have to suffer with miserly data either. Total cost over 24 months is £652

Posted. What is interesting, you can upgrade after 18 months, so contract cost you £489. I think there is £31.50 top cashbackas well.

Where did you find the info re upgrade?
@amzb09 it's only £50 extra for the 128GB version as well. I've voted hot but I think the extra is even hotter!

Hopefully they have improved it then I bought the Google pixel day it came out the battery life was amazing for about a month then it's just dissapeared and now I have to charge at least 3 times a day can't wait to upgrade to iPhone or Samsung

I wouldn't bank on a Samsung giving you good battery life, I have to charge my S8 twice a day.
Blazing hot. Only because I sit next @amzb09 at work and hes talked about getting this phone for SEVEN MONTHS. FINALLY he has bought it and I can go back to a quiet life. HALLELUJAH!!!!

Perhaps you can get on with a little bit of work now mate...

I belive is truth, even i have seen code of my contract, something like "VFT18" but i can't find this now.
And with £40 cash back on Quidco
Any truth in the rumour that some users have had problems with screen burn.

My iPhone needs to be charged twice a day sometimes 3 time.

it seems to be all of them
SO the contract is with Vodafone, i.e. after 24 months I just call Vodafone if I want to cancel it and my bank DD is to Vodafone?

Yes
Dithered and it went up by £10 today but still cheap and got one - didn't bother with the "£10 off" code as would probably invalidate the £40 you can get from Quidco (which tracked at full amount within an hour). Cheers OP
Great deal for this phone. I had one, however ended up selling and went with the OnePlus6 instead. The software experience is brilliant and the camera cannot be beaten, however, I had a fair few technical problems with mine which I didn't want to risk happen again with a new one

I brought this one:

amazon.co.uk/Spi…3GV

The spigen range are meant to be really good. I wanted something clear this adds a bit of bulk but great grip and protection around the sides etc. The original google fabric cases look great but are a little slippy on the hand and may stain with dirt after long use. Not sure about screen protectors I had a bad experience with mine it was a flat one but the edges didn’t stick! I think the ones that include a black top and bottom bit are meant to be good but you will need to make sure they are case friendly if you have a thick case.

Screen was tinted blue if you didn't look at it direct, this was a problem with the first few that was rectified I think, speaker had a tinny, strange sound to it if I turned them up a certain volume (found a fix for this but it involved poking a hole in the speaker grill) also had WiFi connectivity problems at home where the phone would just lose WiFi signal and spend ages trying to get an IP address, even if I set it up as static, which disappeared entirely since I got my OnePlus. Only thing I miss is the camera, that's it. I think I just got unlucky as I got one of the first few.

Drop the fabric cases once and it's gone. Happened to mine, tore it off completely when it was knocked off a table by someone else
I bought Ringke bevel it's clear and looks great dropped the phone from chair height while pushed😁 no mark or scratch whatsoever also bought screen protector but ordered pixel instead of XL😁 so will have to wait when I get back can't remember make but it was£ 8.99 with very good reviews

I think it's more stupid to record a concert you're at... Yet I do this type of thing too, do I ever watch it back?! Nope!

One thing I've notice phone keeps losing hotel WiFi signal but Huawei p smart doesn't I'm abroad just hope it's not a problem with pixel 2xl

how does this invalidate Quidco cash back, not having a go but genuinely want to know?
Any one have 128gb deal link? Doesn’t show on website any more
Regarding the comments on battery usage above. My S8+ only ever gets down to 45-60% by 6/7pm (leave for work at 7:15am). Every so often i'll not charge overnight and it'll last until the following afternoon with 5-15% left. I watch netflix, listen to spotify, make calls, send messages throughout the day and during the train commute both ways.

If anyone has to charge two or three times a day i'd suggest there is:
1. A fault with your handset's battery
2. Unusually heavy use occuring i.e. 4-6 hours or gaming/videos/calls each day.
3. One or more apps installed that are not being monitored/are draining battery through updating feeds in the background.

Bought mine last November and the battery seems as good now as it was then.
anyone used mobiles.co.uk or gone for the actual deal? vodafone and carphone warehouse mention to me that all there rejected phones get sent to mobiles.co.uk and might therefore be open box. £663 is a lot of money for a refurbished phone otherwise cracking deal.
that deal is now gone!! gutted - please expire unless still available.
