Good find!

In terms of Curry's I'll always use their local store just so I can easily point the finger if something's up and get it sorted asap.

No idea but I'm on a Pixel 3 and my battery usually lasts all day without needing to charge up throughout the day and that's with heavy usage (YouTube, Twitch, Netflix, BBC iPlayer, music streaming, social media, games, hotukdeals etc)

Thank you! I have been reading so many posts saying things totally opposed. From what I understood I feel that the Pixel 4 has pretty much the same Battery life to the Pixel 3 (or really close). But since it has some extra features such as Motion sense or an higher screen refresh rate (90hz) then indeed this is impacting the battery life more intensively.

I have a Pixel 4, partner has a Pixel 3. I'd say my battery life is better than hers. All depends on how you're using the phone though.

Out of the box it is very similar, slightly worse. After a week or so of usage you should be able to get 3 to 4 hours of SOT and background usage is pretty light on the battery from what I hear. If you're not an extremely heavy user you should get through the bulk of the day
From those recent / revisited tests I can see that it is not as bad!

As per those videos the Pixel 4 battery life is still not the greatest but at least not as bad as some reviewers were originally saying. Which is good news for people who don't want to use a huge phone (Pixel 4XL)
Anyone know what's the proper way to look after your phone battery?

I read that keeping it between 40 and 80 is best, and so I charge mine for a bit in the morning before work and again when I get home, it's a routine that means it's never close to flat or left charging after 100%, but I'm unsure of is actually the best way, but I've never had that 6% anxiety

A lot of misinformation at the minute, the best way is to use as normal and avoid using while charging if you can.

Values outside of 40 and 80 won't do you much harm as the battery will only noticeably degrade because of this over 3 years of use.
Wow. This costs over 3 times what my current phone cost, and it's the same Snapdragon 855, but this has only 64GB compared to 256GB on mine, and 6GB of RAM compared to 8GB. The 90hz screen sounds nice, and the camera and build will be much better. Still, seems like an absolutely through the roof premium. Google must be laughing their way to the bank.

Sorry to contradict others, but I found the battery life on Pixel 3 appalling. I went from an iPhone 8 Plus, to Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, to Pixel 3 and now I have Xiaomi 9T. All have great batteries so you could say that tarnished my view a little but I had normal size phones/batteries before these and I found the Pixel 3 didn't last me a full day. And I'm not a heavy user.

The camera was fantastic on it though.

I wish I had a couple of comparison shots for you but I don't sorry. The 9T is decent but not as good. This has a 48mp mode but HotUKDeals compresses the file if I post one. Pixel 3 did better in low light, this can be occasionally slow, but overall I'm very happy with it. Especially for the price.

I'll post a few photos.

Thanks for that. Have you tries Gcam for it? It should make a world of difference especially in low light....

No I haven't. I didn't want to start messing with APKs. And tbh I'm happy enough with it.

I might try it though. I just worry about APKs and stuff.

Plus I've been contemplating getting an iPhone.
