Paying £480 for a Andoid tablet and folio keyboard is nuts....

You might as well buy a Surface Pro 2-in-1 type of device for that sort of money.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is fantastic, much prefer it to our iPad Pro.

Pretty much stopped using Apple devices at home.

give the money you save buying this over an ipad to a charity and also enjoy a more flexible experience.. maybe apple users define lesser differently?
How is this hot? It was £300 a year ago, I nearly bought it but went for an Air 2.
Pixel lacks the apps and smoothness of the iPad. iPad has better speakers and screen too.

I have owned mine since March 2016, Best Tablet I have ever owned and still the best there is today. I paid 300 new from the Google store, as there was a developer discount for a short period. At the time I sold my Nexus 9 for 200 and got the Pixel.
Also for new or old owners, the keyboard is discounted: store.google.com/pro…ard

You can't get a surface pro and keyboard for this much.

Not a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 but certainly something similar and certainly something that's better than this limited Android tablet.

I have a surface pro 4 and and the new 5 and they are a completely different device to this.
Great tablet but I couldn't bring myself to spend quite that much. If anybody is looking for a cheaper alternative the Lenovo Tab 4 series are now (finally) starting to show up.

This one costs £100 less than the Pixel. Less memory (but accepts sd cards), slightly lower resolution but otherwise not much in it.

There should be a 64MB version out later and there is an optional keyboard attachment.

That's what I'm saying. It's seriously overpaying spending £480 on this when you can buy a Surface Pro type device for the same sort of money. Tons more useful software on Windows as well.

The best android tablet there is, bought one for my son last Xmas and it has proved to be excellent at everything. The √2screen is a thing of great beauty as is the rapid performance and you are getting Google's stock Android which gets all the updates first.

Isn't an iPad Air actually £70 cheaper than this?

Your choice! Reviews in the likes of "PC Pro" and other mags have often been lukewarm on - even high-end -Android tablets - while really liking the phones!

Android was never originally designed as a tablet OS, even less as a productivity OS. Even now, numerous apps don't scale particularly well and you'd be mad to use Android as a office productivity app when Windows is superior in that regard in terms of software. For phones though, it's fine.

It was cheaper last year when it was on sale.
How old is this thing? two or three years?
They should give a keyboard with it.
I have one, i would recommend to get an ipad for normal people unless you are an android enthusiast but even if you are you should probably get a cheap android tablet as this is a bit overpriced and mine has had to be repaired 3 times as it broke by itself
I got it when it was £300 but nothing special really...
Bought last year with the developer discount. Would buy again in an instant. Much prefer over girlfriend's Ipad Pro.
Who buys a tablet any more? Just get a bigger phone. e.g Google Pixel XL
Stupidly expensive for a device from 2015.
tafty11 h, 24 m ago

It was a discreet play on "404", suggesting that the stock would not be found but joking aside I'm glad there was stock
How is this hot? Its been cheaper, £300 back then, now that was a deal! Pay the extra, get a newer and more up to date tablet.

Also Google give their devices 3 years life span, this came out in 2015, its due soon for end of support so this is too expensive.
