Pizza Express are really about quality over quantity, although I must admit I'd need to buy 2 of these!

The picture above is mis leading. The size is about the same as a medium from pizza hut.

C'mon guys, obviously I posted the above picture as a joke to point out these are very small pizzas.

Who the hell would pay £4 for an 8" pizza in the first place?

Nobody ever does at it is always buy 2 for £5 but my local Morrisons (Netherfield) doesn't sell Pizza Express any more and haven't for weeks so maybe they are getting rid of the line?

People who prefer quality over quantity and who aren't too tight.

Or people who pay for brand over quality.

My local take away does pizzas half the price of Dominoes and they taste far better.

Am I the only one feeling really hungry right now?

Good price voted hot.

cracking bargain, perfect sized pizza if you're sensible about portions. Good quality too. I bought 4 tonight and filled the freezer!

why would you buy a fresh pizza and freeze it?

Because he was hardly going to eat 4 at once...
I freeze them all the time too.

More to the point, how small is your freezer that 4 of these fill it?

Maybe he already had a few and added 4 more to fill it.

Haha get a grip, my local pizza shop does 10" for £5 and it tastes much better than this.

If there's a deal on a store bought pizza, you get people saying just buy a takeaway one.
If there's a deal on a takeaway pizza, you get people saying just buy a freshly made one from Asda.
If there's a deal on an Asda pizza, you get people saying make your own.

You can't win!

You're absolutely right, makes me wonder why I bothered to post. However, you have forgetten the one comment that takes this full circle....

If there's a deal on the ingredients to make your own, you get people saying just buy a Pizza from a store.

LOL;)
Ultimately a deal like this is voted not as a deal, but by personal preference, as everybody has their favourite type, toppings, size and brand of pizza, but AFAIK this is the best price around for these Pizza's whether you like them or not.:D

These are the nicest bake at home pizzas, hot!

False... not even close, in fact! X)

Buy the bases from Asda then make your own. For the first layer use tomato puree and origami.

These are truly wretched!!! The topping is pretty tasteless and the base is as thin as toilet paper... ...there's no way these are worth anything like £1.99 let alone £4...total rip-off!!!

Haven't seen this one but I hope you pointed out to them that they are made by the same company!

When does the deal expire?

For those not near a Morrison's, they're £2 in Tesco from tomorrow

Got a pepperoni one for £1.65 from Waitrose the other day. It was going out of date that day.
Very tasty.

People on here whinge about every Apple product but then get all excited for an 8" pizza for £1.89. Contradictory!

Maybe that's because it's a little bit of quality we can all afford, and possibly more enjoyable?
Seriously, I may be a fan of Android phones, but I don't whinge at every Apple product, I mean I like a nice crunchy Granny Smith as much as anyone else! lol

My tip is to keep an eye on the reduced items fridge. IMO the Asda 'Finest' ones are the best and you can often pick them up there as they seem to have a short 'store life' - I bought two today for £1.30 each.
The applewood smoked ham, mushroom & mascarpone one is pretty damn amazing. It's fairly light on the cheese as well so you can actually appreciate the toppings more

I think these pizzas arent really that great, i wouldnt pay £4 never mind £1.99, each to their own i guess...

Was about to post this, so it's still on.

Had one last night, really tasty. However in this modern age of obesity being the norm, I think these kind of deals fall on deaf ears when it comes to supposedly 'small' pizzas.
