Not for a large fresh pizza which tastes gooood ;p
Papa John's > Domino's > Pizza Hut.

But you can't argue at that price.

Ever been self-employed, ran a business? Probably not. Discounted £5 for a large hot pizza is good value. Pizza Hut is a business with bills to pay, not charity. If you're gonna be cheapskate, go to a foodbank. I guess you expect the pizza to be chewed for you. X)

I've never seen pizza ovens in there, or people walking out with freshly cooked pizzas. Must be a new thing?
Are they deep fried?
Do they do free delivery to London?

Trust me man, I've met clients like that. I just turn away their business as I will be working for feck all after all the deductions in running a business. I'm sure another muppet will be happy to take their business but not me. You might as well get employed by a employer than being your own Boss. If you got a steady reasonable business (not even one earning in excessive profits) in the black & clients walk in expect peanuts. I always explain to them, they can always DIY at home, it's cheaper. I guess someones time & years of experience or skills mean feck all to these cheapskates. Btw, I don't own a pizzeria. X)

I agree.
You can get cheaper supermarket pizzas or better yet make your own! (Latter usually tasting much better.)
(Haven't tried all kinds of sauce but I do seem to favour Ragu, Dolmio and Sainsburys over some other slightly
blander sauces.)
But it's still a pretty good deal considering these pizzas are usually hella expensive,
it's large (don't know how large but it states it's large)
and and hot and fresh and probably is on par with home made pizzas (and above most supermarket pizzas
that often taste like bread and cheese....weak sauce, literally. xD)

So yeah, why you people bashing this person....it's true.
£5 is technically still expensive for a pizza.
But for this type, it's a pretty acceptable purchase in my opinion.
If it tastes above average, it deserves the £5.
But any more than £7 a pizza is a rip off in my opinion
unless it's absolutely massive....like enough to feed 4 or 5 people decently.
Then fine.

So yeah, £5 pizza is expensive but this is a good deal for what you get.
I'm just giving a balanced and logical view.

Although I don't know how much delivery is. If it's free delivery or very cheap,
I'd order a couple every few days/weeks at this price.

And what about when you factor in the electricity costs for the cooking of your Asda pizza?
Wish I was in scotland just now
You can't beat fresh made pizzas taste totally different to supermarket pizzas, I like to make my own when I have time which isn't very often but delicious

And the fact that it don't taste as nice......
I can't believe people think this is expensive cos they can buy a cheap pizza base from chavvy Iceland & put their own toppings on it?

Do you make your own Cola as well to save some pennies.

Sad people!!

what's sad or chavvy about Iceland? what's sad is lazy feckers who sit on their **** watching TV all night after sitting on their **** all day, complaining they're too tired to cook let's order in instead. making your own is better. for a tenner you could eat pizza all week. better still have a salad!

Nothing chavy about Iceland. Yes I can cook and yes I can make pizza for a week for a tenner but it's the taste and hassle free option for a quality piece of pizza. Pizza Hut is a recognised brand for taste and quality.
pizza
Are we posting deals for our local takeaways now?
People like pizza bases because they can put more on the base than you'd get from any pizza outlet! In the long run can work out more expensive but exactly to your individual taste!

Brilliant! Completely agree with you.
Still not worth it!
If you come to know the reality of how they're made, you'll never eat it even if they pay you for it.

I worked at Pizza Hut for 5 years so before someone comes along and starts slamming me for the comment, it is all experience.

Did you just mention the words quality and Pizza Hut in the same sentence!
Oh I wish I could show you how they're made and what these 'quality' products are.

Well you know what they've been in business for a long time. In my opinion they are excellent quality better than Domino's or papa John's. I bet your an disgruntled ex employee. Lol

Cheapskate and food bank in the same sentence. People largely go to food banks because they're **** desperate not because they don't want to pay inflated prices.

yes I have my own business, granted not making pizzas, but how much does a Base, sauce and cheese cost.. not £5.
like others have said local takeaways. asda, etc still sell them cheaper than £5 and make a profit.
pizza Hut at full price is a huge rip off.
on another note, my mate used to work at one, where all the man utd team used to come and eat. he was a city fan....you can imagine what flavour pizza he made them!! oO

Another story, some **** gypsies came in once & one gypsy guy wanted to buy a genuine can of real Coca Cola at 70p, not some cheap brand Cola & tried to barter a difference of 10p. Hell yeah, fecking 10p, inside my head was screaming, WTF!

Display prices were clearly labelled & all drinks are chilled (someone has to out & collect stock using fuel costs, let alone pay for the electric right for chilled drinks?). But I return & said a firm NO! Gypsy guy was trying all his best to save 10p claiming he won't come back for a long while (feck do I care) so I turned back & returned the Coke back in the fridge before he lost the battle & changed his mind & decided to pay up like a lost loser. X)

Gypsy guy even tried to claim that I buy cheaper (how the feck does he know to run a legitimate bricks & mortar retail business when most hard working honest folks know they don't even pay local council tax, & even drive better newer cars/caravans than I do travelling around leaving large amounts of trash to local tax payers to fund the cleanup.) but I told him that some retailers are even charging £1 a can & that my prices are almost inline with other major retailers even supermarkets.

Guess what, the same fecking **** gypsy bloke with his cheapass mates returned 1 week later & got the fecking nerve to claim he can't remember me when I said I remembered him. I was the one serving this **** gypsy fecker. X)

Gypsy guy tries to barter 10p. Let's use this to **** them all off and create bad sentiment toward them as a group in society. What a great idea.
