Still complete tripe

Not tripe that is was "built to slice through the air" - if it actually achieves it or not is another matter...

Naa pretty significant benefits to be had...

Shame about the size availability

The bike may be "built to slice through the air" but the lycra clad idiot riding it was not.

Early morning you had Silver, Neon Green and Team Carnac in L and Silver and Team Carnac in XL (Medium and Small had the 3 colours). Stock was low anyway, 3 of each or so. As soon as that hit the HotUKDeals it went down fast. There was also an email from them promoting it.
Got one I hope

Keep an eye, they ought to do another sale on boxing day, probably, as they did last year.

Great price indeed. Looks like it's gone, link doesn't work.

Personally, I wouldn't ride an aero bike unless racing or in a TT...

They've posted another "Black Friday Part 2" deal for the same bike but with 'Ultegra Mixed' (which seems to mean Ultegra apart from an FSA chainset and SRAM 1170 chain and cassette)

For early aero frames I'd probably have agreed with you, but I think nowadays they can make good all rounders. I've got a Canyon Aeroad which I do race on, but it's also been great for plenty of long rides, inc 300km+ ones and Alpine climbing.

Brakes are also not Ultegra. I got the full Ultegra even if the frame colour would not be my first choice. Oh well, re-spray service it is

That was a very good deal. The second one is less so. But still a lot of bike for a grand.
