Looks like it will make me better at gaming.Shame it's not wireless.

Personally prefer wired. Saves the hassle of charging them & no buzzing when the batteries low

Unless you go expensive to one with swap out battery packs I completely agree!
Thanks OP, have ordered so we'll see.. mixed reviews when new with some mic issues it seems but I'll give them a go. Cheers

I've been using a pair of Turtle Beach px3 for years. Works fine, just fancy something a bit more premium. Never had any low battery buzz.

Tbf, the wireless ones I used to use were just some crappy ones I got off Amazon.. Couldn’t even tell you the make of them
I have the Rig 800s. Very comfortable to wear. I would assume these would be too
No longer owned by Plantronics. They sold the IP to Nanco Gaming. Absolute garbage company.

These are the best headset, even the wireless RIG 800 LX (Xbox/PC)

Expect no support from anyone.

But for that price so worth it.
Thanks Libre11, reviews are mostly favourable, price is excellent, and the Microsoft Dolby Atmos for Headphones activation alone is about £10-15.
Unfortunately charging £12.99 for delivery to the Scottish Highlands
Been eyeing up a new headset for a while, these should do the job for a bit , thanks op
only started using headphones recently (xbox one x, what a difference compared to a surround sound system. The one I got was the rig 400, I thought I would try a cheap pair 1st, glad I did, now ordered these... cheers OP
Just ordered cheers!

Have been looking round for a cheap headset all week.

Gotta love HUKD
What is a good 7.1 wireless one for PS4?
Thanks op
Ordered. Thanks a lot.
Seems a good price so i have bitten
Ordered as a spare set, thanks
I tried online gaming on my ps3, never last more than 30 seconds before being killed by someone I never see. Great deal but I gave up after that.

Are they any good? Is it Bluetooth? I’m thinking buying one for my PC but it doesn’t have Bluetooth

The PX3? Good enough tbh. I've had mine for like 5 years I think. The model itself is around 10 years old. Battery life is good, I still get about 15hrs possibly more from a single charge.
They are very flimsy (like most turtle beaches). The clips on the joints pop off but I've glued mine back in place.
Sound is good, and so is the mic.
They don't tend to heat up my gears and are comfortable.

They are not Bluetooth, it comes with a USB switch box receiver where you can switch between PC, XBOX and PS3 settings.
Sound quality is pretty good, had some issues with the connection to the pad after a couple of months which made me buy another and use this as a backup.

I could have bought a talk back cable but wanted full wireless really anyway.

Free Atmos would swing it for me, I think it’s great.

Are you sure it comes with a splitter/usb

Looked at unboxings and reviews, many say you need to buy a splitter/adapter as it comes with a single socket 3.5 cable.

My mobo doesn't support it

They don't come with the PC cable only the Cable to go into the controller.

Absolute Bargain at this price

No 'PC cable'? So can't be used with a PC (despite the description)?

Ordered, just hoping they come in time for my sons birthday now!

Don't have much confidence after reading trustpilot though!

You aren't going to get a true Atmos mix out of a headset.

I'm not doubting the sound quality, but I find it rather suspect that a company can advertise a headset as having Atmos capabilities when by definition the Atmos encoding uses it's own channels from the rest of the mix. Same with sound bars.
Will Atmos work with PS4 or only Windws and Xbox?

Looked this up for my nephew, from what I have read to date PS4 doesn’t support Atmos.

Agreed, but, I have tested them and can tell which direction any noise is coming from, did the test with my eyes closed and got it spot on every time I don’t know how Dolby d it, witchcraft I think...

Got this today and some things to note.
Headset seems OK but have an older PC and didn't realise I would need an adaptor, its just a 3.5mm single 4 pole plug so if you have an older PC with a mic and audio jack separately you will need that adaptor. Good old Amazon though should have one tomorrow. Secondly it only seems to come with a very short Xbox/PS4 connector cable with the rotary knob for volume. In reviews I'd seen they got both a controller cable and a longer PC headset cable but mine only came with the short one so have also had to order a 4 pole extension cable.
Thirdly I have redeemed the Dolby Atmos code you get onto my Windows 10 and it says its installed but I cant find it anywhere, not sure if there should be an app or something but as yet I'm unsure.
Will better test it when I get all the things in line, just wanted to give all you guys a heads up in case.
