Excellent deal, my wife wanted something platinum for our anniversary, it was either this or platinum fairy soap...

Eyedropper this pen - no need for a converter and it holds a lot of ink.

But if the pen barrel cracks... Is this pen any good?

I was really tempted to buy it, but I ended up buying a Parker converter for my old Parker Frontier. I really don't like that Parker Frontier, but it has medium, and I am testing out Diamine Shimmering Sea.
why not this one?39884437-On1LV.jpg
also converter is 3.5 or something ...

Yeh, I have Prime. I wanted Prime delivery... I will order a Preppy then. This is cheaper than the Parker converter I bought...

I thought it's eyedropper type and you don't need a converter!? By the way has anyone here had this model? Are they any good? The price is irrelevant if they are no good!

One review (on another Platinum Preppy) reads:
Pen is good but plastic body cracked within a week of careful usage. Better to buy plasir.

So good luck if you're going to do that!

I wouldn't be tempted to try that if I'm going to put the pen in a pocket etc.
