Not sure how ethical this is but I purchased this from JL mainly for the 2 year guarantee. I didn't want the games so took them back to JL in their shrink wrap unused condition and they refunded me £50.98

I told them when I returned the games it was part of a deal and they said as I had a seperate invoice (they came in a seperate parcel) it was fine.

So that means a PS4 Pro with 2 year guarantee for £248.97.

Not a deal
This is more luck than a deal?

There problem...you told them about it....I tried to cancel my COD as it was delayed..it was meant to be £47.99 but then they said that as it's a bundle...its £23.99 or thereabouts whatever they got the games in for...ridiculous
How did you get it on a separate invoice anyway if it was a bundle?
Not a deal
My bundled game came with a separate invoice, and separate packaging. Fortunately I was able to sell both my bundled games (different bundle) on eBay for £70.

Which way are you pointing?
Got from very £299 with £50 credit back to account. Making ps4 pro console with gran turismo for £249.00
The bundle came in two packages the PS4 Pro with a £299 invoice and the two games with another £50.98 seperate invoice.

I was apprehensive when I went into JL to see if they would refund the games but they were fine even when I explained it was part of a bundle.

Not sure what would happen if I took the Pro back with the £299 invoice

Not likely to happen as I consider this a pretty good deal and that would most certainly be unethical.

£250 should be the price for PS4 Pro by now anyway - Sony just doing an Apple with their TV's, consoles, etc, now IMPO.

I agree just after BF ended Amazon had them for a few hours at £259. During BF they also had one as new in the Warehouse for £220.

I am still more than happy with this deal though as I also have the 2 year guarantee.

This is my first games machine in over 20 years (I started with an Atari ST) and I am having a blast. I even got a VR head set. The Pro seems to make the head set perfrom a little smoother (I iniially tried the stock PS4).

If someone had given me this setup back in the late 80s I would have been amazed. Even now I am blown away by VR despite the sickness with some of the driving games

The PS4 is still selling at a ridiculous rate, so I doubt they feel the need to cut the price. Sony said that they sold more consoles over the Black Friday weekend this year than ever before, which is pretty amazing given that the PS4 is four years old now (and given how well the PS2 sold back in the day).

I said they would go down after the xbox one x came out, and there was one poster on who basically took offence to this likelihood.

Wonder how he feels like now.

Some people take the fanboy stuff too far.
I suspect the ps5 will be announced next year. Can't see Sony letting ms have the more powerful console.

I doubt they care too much, they are still outselling MS and now that they are heavily pushing VR as well, I think they'll be happy to keep things as they are. Remains to be seen how well the XboxX sells obviously, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

There's a lot of speculation Sony might launch something new next year, but I think the sensible money is on both companies now waiting until 4K TV's are more widespread which is going to be 2019 or even later.
