It's on PC and was £2.49 just 10 days ago but some would like to try before buy. So, yes it's free to try.
Added: 27/02/2020, it's on all platforms now.

Waiting for it to become Free to Play
Even without free to play was well worth picking up off epic for 5 euro at the time or from Ubisoft later on for 3 euro. Get your time and fun out of it
After 2nd there new version The Division 2 will be system like call of duty mw to buy premium season pass...uPlay need a lot of money?
I'm currently playing in real life. No need for a global pandemic game when you are living in one.
It's pretty much all I play. To me it's like diablo but with guns.
I know alot of people who have had trouble when using Epic store, I would just use UPLAY instead
No problems here using the Epic store. Just connect your ubisoft account to whatever game you buy and after that no need to play the game through Epic. Great value and everything just works without any problems
I am playing but having trouble grasping how the game operates.. Is it a single player game with the same missions, but at any time another live player can "call" me in the game, and i can help them do one of the missions too? I find it quite overwhelming as to what I am meant to be doing in any order, but it is excellent.

I just got this game. Looks amazing tbf. Single player good fun yeah?
By the time I downloaded the game the trial would be over ha ha
Is just in the ps4 store where it says start demo?
Great game. Amazing it was in US Store for 2.99 on PS4!
Would have bought it outright had they made it £4 like they did in the ps us store. But nope they kept it at 49.99 so I think I'll pass. I did have a us account but forgot the login details.
This seems to be every month now.
Got this free with a gfx card that I had to send back. Played it for about 2 hours and decided that it was amongst the biggest load of crap I've ever played. Truly horrific. I can see that's it's £2.50 in the epic store. It's not worth even having for free.

2 hours? It takes far longer than that to get the hang of all the different ways that it can be played in that time. I think you are better off sticking to casual mobile games for yourself. You are in the minority here and thousands of people have put in hundreds of hours into the game. Perhaps you sent back the gfx card also because you found it too hard to install? Lol

Hey thanks for the great 'advice', but I seem to remember there were better games than this around in 1982 when I got my ZX Spectrum. I was building PC's when you were a sperm in granpa's ball bag.

I also had a spectrum as well as many other machines so got a feeling I'm older than you lol. Next time just try and research the graphics card you want and google how to install it - no shame in asking for help

Don't embarrass yourself any more kid, you've made enough of a fool of yourself already. Now grow up, there's a good little boy.
Lol, back to school for yourself and get a different hobby than gaming as you just aren't cut out for it. I hope you don't work in the computer field as god help anyone getting their computer fixed by you lol
It is quite a dull, repetitive game TBF.
What game isn't repetitive over time? For the initial price it's well worth the time and investment. Longterm, most people will just move on from it as they do with every other gam.

I like the game, purchased the new dlc which I find very good love the guns on the level 30 gear boost.

There is always someone moaning and to say zx spectrum games are better is a total joke!
