A compilation of the best stuff from this sadly overlooked 70's band. Juicy Lucy play a mean type of sleazy blues rock. Included in this album is the classic "Who do you love" and a large portion of their first album amongst many others.

A steal at £2.99 you may find yourself wondering why you've never heard of them before apart from on Quiz shows. This replaces my overplayed vinyl, thanks Play !

Why cold???

Dunno. Wish I'd found this cracking CD at a cracking price

I think some people feel they have to go through everything and vote on whether they actually want the item or not, rather than whether its a good deal. I don't see how a CD for £2.99 can't be classed as a good deal... if it's not your cup of tea, don't vote it down, just don't vote!

Thanks andy

Is it going to be within your spec to investigate serial cold voters or indeed unjustified cold voting ?

Personally it's nothing more than pathetic to me but it really does upset people and especially newbies who do their best to find good deals only to see them voted cold initially in a lot of cases.

I do what I can to assist new users on HUKD. There are ways of pointing out that a given item is cheaper elsewhere etc and sometimes new users can be put off from ever returning. Obviously, we all lose out, as they, in the future might find a cracking deal which they don't post for fear of being flamed

My real pet hate is when people vote on whether they like the CD/DVD/Game etc or not. ie confusing HUKD with a CD/DVD/Game review site

Were they a 70's band? I'm sure we were drooling over the cover of their 1st LP in the late 60's. Thanks for the pointer. I hope I actually like more than the couple of songs I remember.
I bought a Herd compilation CD last week, reliving my youth. From The Underworld still sounds good but the rest of the tracks were terrible.
Any pointers to a cheap copy of Alan Bown stuff (Outward Bown or a compilation)?

I agree with what you're saying.......but if you keep starting a new thread for every £2.99 CD deal, you'll always get people voting hot or cold from their own personal music choice. People take these music things personal, same way they like to advertise their favourite band by wearing a T-shirt

I think that the £2.99 CD guys should join forces and start a single thread and just keep adding to it, as most of these offer are from play.com

just my 2 cents, as it's obviously upsetting to the guy that posts the deal

Same could be said for PS3 games etc if you put ALL same priced / category items in 1 thread it disappears within a day or so ;-) . There is no sticky front page tab for same deal posts :whistling:

OK so they are being posted separately BUT it gives 'US' the chance to peruse and decide which we want instead of trawling through 1 ........l........o........n........g........ post
