Deal of the day at CDkeys. £17.49 for this early access battle royale style title taking gaming by storm. Like CDkeys facebook for an extra 5 percent off for 'new' customers which takes it down to £16.62! Lowest price I have yet seen.
The game is a lot of fun, will take a while to get into it but the developers have promised long term support, new maps and content etc.

2 uses per new account and email I believe. If only there was a way to get a new disposable email and facebook account
A lot of the negative reviews are from Chinese players who need to buy access to a VPN to get the game to work properly. There are hackers as well though.
I would suggest maybe watch some streams to get an idea of what state the game is in. And I wouldn't go near it unless you have a decent PC or you don't mind it running like crap.
Of all the games I've played on PC over the last 15-20 years this is actually one with the least amount of hackers. It's also one of the best and most addictive games I've played. I have almost 400 hours on it and I'm just as into it as I was the day I got it. It's a great game. The devs are constantly improving it and the full release is coming out next month so the price will probably go up a bit, I'd say this is the perfect time to buy it.
EDIT: store.steampowered.com/new…848
The game actually runs pretty well on a shitty system now. Compared to earlier in the year they've definitely optimised it a lot.
I build and sell PC's and the most recent one I built was a 3rd gen i5 with 8gb ram and a GT 1030 2gb graphics card, and the game gets a consistent 30fps at least and is perfectly playable.
Not really - seen only 2 definite hackers in 450 hours.
Pickup some squad mates and have a blast on this. Incidentally if people want to play some squad action duos or 4 person then post here you may as well.
It's even more fun if you have mics and it makes it a lot easier to get into, since the learning curve is steep in solo mode having someone else or a group to help you out does wonders for the enjoyment of the game
the devs are cracking down on hacking.
the one thing I would say is that pubg needs a decent pc if you care about hitting 60fps on high res.
1080 less of an issue
Always envy your PC Game prices tho.... Well jell
Get it on Xbone, one way of ensuring a level playing field
Cant get a refund if buying through third party
I’m in the UK and unfortunately hacking is rife. The devs are going to take it more seriously but only when it’s emerging from early access.
For a start like many titles it's better on Nvidia cards. If you have AMD you have a performance penalty.
It's was notorious but it has had performance improvements. It is also technically still 'early access' but a decent i5 and a now 3 year old GTX970 should net you 60FPS on high settings @ 1080p these days. A GTX1070 can easily do 1440p with mostly ultra settings. It's not really outrageous.
You actually don't really want the ultra settings in truth anyway, because you're probably at a gameplay disadvantage if anything thanks to slower frame rates and more foliage being rendered to hide enemies. Aim for 60FPS, you don't need 'ultra' it's barely distinguishable to 'high'.
Sorry i have to disagree the game is fully of them now every couple of games i get killed with shot gun from 200 metres away or some one running like flash gordon around the map
Given the number of players banned for hacking so far, it's been almost a certainty to encounter at least one hacker in each game of 100. So people who say "I've played X hundred hours and not seen one!" most likely encountered many but didn't realise. Remember, you can't prove a negative .
On the plus side it does sound like the devs are doing something, given the number of bans, but whether they can win the arms race with the hack creators remains to be seen. I've heard bans don't work on their own as they simply buy another copy with a stolen credit card (for a few dollars) off the dark web, play for a few days before it gets revoked.
