So that's the detail - here's the deal.

Child £5 (Usual Price £9)

These prices are valid for entry on one of the two days the event is running.

Cosplay! ah hell yeah

not to mention they will be showing Oculus Rift on both days. also Ubisoft will have a playable demo os AC4 on PS4.

Went to this last year, wasn't too bad for the first event, they had a few hick-up at the beginning, with doors not opening on time and they lacked order, but once we got in, it was great fun, all those old school consoles and arcade machines in one place was awesome...then they had the WiiU stand where I got to watch one poor bloke spend 15 minutes trying to control the baterang in Batman:AC using the WiiPad with no success, and got to play Ni No Kuni, Need for speed, Persona4:Arena, Darkstalkers all games I was looking forward to.

I doubt i'll be able to go this year though, friends already went to Eurogamer Expo so going alone would no be worth it.

Same with me, waited outside for an hr because of the doors opening late. Enjoyed last year but won't be going again as it was so disorganized.

it was a first event. there's always problems with venues like that. I enjoyed it and with what they have prepared for this year - I will enjoy it too

Great event last year from a pinball point of view, I went for the weekend and have already got tickets for the weekend this year, yes the line was long and doors late opening but it was worth the wait, Sunday was more organised than Saturday and I am sure they have learned from the issues.

Would be nice to have a real competitor to the Eurogamer Expo, so good luck to them.

Eurogamer disgustingly over-sell their expo, where everything is a 3 hour queue.

been looking for one of these to try Oculus Rift and other stuff, great news

takes the p*** i paid £13 for my ticket

Last weekend was shocking, I did hear of people waiting for more than 3 hours to play Titanfall. They need to better organise things and also stop letting kids in.

Any ideas what time doors open?

11 I think

Cheers. Can't see it on the site anywhere...

can I pay on the door

Lol last year was its debut in that venue, play expo has been going for years and yes, very disorganised. I go to euro gamer for the latest stuff and revival festival for the retro stuff (it's awesome)

Not letting kids in to a video games event? Doesn't make much sense...
Although they could have a clear "over 18's" area, seeing as so many games are higher rated these days.

If I remember correctly from last year, yes. It's a bit ridiculous really because the people who hadn't paid last year got in before those of us who had bought tickets online. But, as others have said, it was its first time at EventCity last year so hopefully this year it'll be more organised. I'm looking forward to it, I'm just worried that there's going to be less there than last year which would be disappointing.

Good price on Amazon Local as well.

Brilliant, thanks for the heads up OP.

I think it does. It's a trade show and kids just annoy and get in the way. It would be better if they limited it to over 16's only or ideally over 18's.

thsnks, I bought a ticket anyway

Hmm went last year and they have given me press passes again, so might be going. As some have said they had issues last year but could be worth checking out. Biggest issue I had last year was EA not letting me film. Hate those guys.

It was ok last year, liked the retro games but the wii queue was an hour.

That was my main gripe with last year along with the queuing which put me off. People getting in before me who paid for tickets on the door but yet i booked online in advance. Alot of complaints about that even from gaming podcasts.

It's not a trade show, or else the public wouldn't be let in

Anything much PC wise? The website doesn't give enough info.

So by that logic, E3 and Gamescom aren't trade shows either.

They have trade days, then public days

says no longer available?

Jeez, an hour getting out the car park last night, show was good though, back for more today

The Saturday was an awesome day, shame I couldn't make Sunday
