Not officially published by Nintendo. Pass. For an unofficial Nintendo book, you could go instead with Pat the NES Library Guide which admittedly does cost more than this, obviously, but you're getting what many NES collectors consider it to be essential.

Retrocollect.com forum has a topic dedicated to it if anyone is interested. I didn't get one for myself because it costs only slightly less than a Mini Famicom/NES.

It'll be the 'official' guide to accompany the console - pretty much all of Prima's guides typically are, where they produce them. See here, for example: nintendolife.com/new…ini

With these guides, it's always worth checking SpeedyHen, as they're typically cheaper - albeit not by a huge amount in this case (£16.07).

The book only covers 17 games and the Mini NES will have 30 in total. I'd really want to get the Mini Famicom instead but I don't know where to buy it from for a reasonable RRP price with shipping and customs.

It might just be a case of keeping an eye on PlayAsia over the next month or two, and seeing if anything comes up.

Going 8 bit mad this year?

I've been trying to buy cartridges for 10 years and they still cost a fortune. Cheapest I ever had was Marble Madness back when Blockbuster was a household name
