When this thing hits £39.99, you’re going see some serious @%

this may not be for everyone but it’s the cheapest I’ve seen it and I’ve ordered it tonight

Won’t lie, this is for me and not any of my kids, although I’m sure they’ll get to play with it at some point.

I’m a huge BTTF the fan and whilst this might have been a bit step at £49.99, I can certainly live with £39.99

Niiiiiiiiiiice!!
Yes, I got it for the same price a few weeks ago when someone else posted a Playmobil Voucher Code.
It was quick to arrive, but UPS really did look like they had kicked the box all around the warehouse.

Regarding the Delorean, it looks really good, I like that they wheels can fold in. There are 2 light modes, but no sounds, like ECTO 1 had, which is disappointing. The plastic they used for the body has a brushed metal look in places, so a thumbs up for that.

The stickers are plastic ones, so they shouldn't tear when putting them on. I feel that if given to a kid to put together, then I think they might struggle. Marty and Doc look cool, but the Flux Capacitor cover keeps popping off. I think I'll ask Playmobil if this is by design or I have a faulty one.

Now, will they release all the different variants? That would be cool

That would be cool and I’d definitely be up for all of those too. Lego need to make a better version too
This really is a repost as the other deal is still live. As before if you add the other bttf figure pack for £5.59 after discount you also get to add a bonus figure of either girl or boy with 2 extra outfits

I got the bonus figure as well I think or at least something is added to my order but it’s not entirely clear so I didn’t add it to the post
Big BTTF fan here also, got this last month and it’s great. It had a manufacturing fault so Playmobil sent me another one luckily.

As a teenager in the 80’s I had a huge collection of BTTF stuff, includithe official posters and big cardboard cutouts from the local cinema. Unbelievably I threw them all out when I moved out of my parents house and went to uni! Such an error.

What was the manufacturing fault you had?

Yeah it’s amazing how a handful of films can become part of modern history thatresonates with so many

It was on odd one - the factory had fitted one of the wheel hubs the wrong way round so when the wheel was fitted it was in the wrong position. I emailed Playmobil and asked them for help on how I could take the body apart and turn the piece around but they said it couldn't be done and would send me a new one. Great I thought!!

A week later I got a small box and inside was what can only be described as a very well used previously built prototype version of the Delorean with missing parts, broken elements and stickers badly placed by hand.

It was not the same as the retail version, the tabs holding the blue light bars on were all broken, the door was hanging off and the window was missing. It was all a bit ridiculous so I complained and after sending my proof of purchase in they sent me a new boxed version which I've put away now.

I ended up fixing the dodgy hub, which is what I wanted from them initially, and now have 2 copies of it for the price of one.

Got a pic of what was wrong?

Yes, I sent them some:

It shows the hub on upside down, you can see the tab is not showing - so it still folded up as it should do but the wheel was about 10mm lower than the others so the car was wonky. I had to remove the front bumper and the chassis then turn it round. It wasn't an easy job to do without almost breaking it all but I managed it.

This was whet they sent me as a replacement!!!

That's a £60+k pair of trainer you have there, if those are the original MAGs.
I probably wouldn't be wearing then if I was you. True fan or not.

They are the originals released in 2011. Not the auto lacing ones released I think in 2016 or maybe later

I don’t wear them as such I’ve had them on my feet a number of times indoors for a handful of photos.

Probably worth around £10-12k but I’m not planning on parting with the anytime soon. I only bought them as I got for them for an absolute bargain

The point is this is expensive for what you get and thus not really what I consider to be good value or worth the money.

And that’s great. It’s obviously not for everyone and that isn’t what this site is about. Not everyone places value for money on different items.

If Value for money was my main decision making point I’d never have bought the Nike Air Mags. For most people what I paid was insane.

I think it’s a bit of a stretch to think of this for a toy for kids and certainly think of it more as a collectible item for long term fans.

If I could get a similar quality version. Done as well for half the value I’m sure we’d all have one. But alas that’s not possible.

Collectibles are rarely cheap unfortunately. I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to buy instead.

Excuse me, but you appear to the instigator of whatever argument you think we're having. I never said anybody was wrong about anything; you said that yourself (for some unknown reason). Please find someone else to debate instead of bothering me, thanks.

You started with the childish name calling. I’m
Not sure what you’d like as a response.

You originally posted saying you though it was bad value. I’m giving the counter. No one is arguing yet you alone seem to be taking offence (for some unknown reason)

I’ll save you the requirement to reply by popping you on ignore. Hopefully none of my other posts will offend you quite as much

Have a nice evening

It’s subjective, you may find it poor value, many don’t. I paid £50 for it last month and im very happy with that price. £50 gets you nothing now, I’ve just spent £25 at the chippy and we’ve eaten it all now!
Looks great and the kids would love it but you don't get very much for the price.
Thanks for posting. We have added this to the Highlights section

Now that would be cool. Won’t lie. I’d have bought three. That said they aren’t the best looking kit ever. I kind of hope they do it again properly.

I’d love a kit the size of the Technics Porsche with the ability to built all three versions at a single time. That would be worth whatever they’d charge in my opinion

Can’t disagree with this but think This is genuinely aimed at fans/collectors more than kids. They clearly like the way that Lego do things.

Not checked but I think so!
