PC world should - but depends if they have the particular bundle in stock I spose.

]Yep, £114.99

So, should come to £43.49ish

i have just bought a second hand ps2 in game station for £49.99 a few weeks ago i am well gutted now heat added

Is this instore too, or just online ?

I checked the PC world website. All of the PC world stores near me had exactly the same deal as TRU in stock. So i reng the first store and asked them for a price match. The man said (after 5 minutes of searching) that they don't have it in stock. LIAR!

So I rang the next store close to me... same again. Even though it said on their website there store has them in stock, this guy says other wise.

Third time... I rang the third closest store to me but this time I decided to ask if they had the product in store first. The woman told me that they did. So... I asked for a price match. The woman turned around and said they can't do it because TRU will not have them in stock. I explained to the lady that TRU do have them in stock but I never got anywhere...

I searched some more... believe what you want. But Curry's/Dixon's/PC World will NOT do pricematches. They say they do but when you ask them they come up with some kind of an excuse!

So... I'm heading off on an hour and a half journey to TRU!

Buy it and flog the game or give it away as a xmas pressie:thumbsup:

bobbobbington - I tried calling the PCworld price match number. I've got one reserved and he agreed the prices that I said. Here's hoping they still honour it tomorrow when I go to pick it up.

I've got a reservation number and a printout of the original price and the toys r us price and I took the guy on the phone's name. Hope it works for me, might be worth a try for you.

Birstall, Leeds have both packs in stock - I picked up the Simpsons packs

Quite often people wont do price matching on bundles, Toys R Us also have a few other deals on, not sure if theyre as good, I might post in a min

Just because they the computer says their in stock doesn't mean that the shop is lieing.

Been looking for a Buzz based deal for some time. Picked one up last night in Newtownabbey. Many thanks to original poster. There were loads of stock too. Just came in yesterday apparently. Not being promoted (at least last night) so quite hard to find. No bundles are actually visible, just the yellow tickets.

Sorry guys but I'm voting cold, I picked up a PS2 a few months ago and ended up taking it back and buying an 360 after realising that the technology is so dated now that I couldn't enjoy playing it.

If this is all you can afford or you have a stack of PS2 games already then that's fine, but with 360's hovering around £100 mark with a glut of cheap games available I would not go for it as a first console.

You can pick up some really cheap ones on ebay, but also try ]cex.co.uk - having said that, their preowned games can be a bit manky. Generally 2nd hand games are best on ebay as you can see the condition first. The new games tend to be between £4.99-£29.99 at Game.

ok voting it cold for that reason makes you an idiot and a douche bag.
It doesn't matter if you think the item isn't that great the point of heat is marking it based on how good the deal is for that particular item.

Thanks for the rep/heat all. Good deal, just trying not to buy one myself!

I just phoned Toys'r'us in Croydon, and was told that the offer was only on until the weekend.

Meaning it's no longer possible to get instore :x

Just like the Nintendo Wii deal they had for a limited period I guess.

Just been to the Toys'r'Us in Brighton and the deal is still alive and kicking. About a dozen boxes of the Buzz version on display any yellow tickets for the Simpsons version.
