Good deal.... however... Outside of VR which I have no interest in, any other real use for this camera?

Google gives many uses.

You can use it for a microphone rather than using a headset, you can use it to log you in. You can take photos with it.

Will these be sealed new? Unlike their new games?
Was about to buy- until I checked their page on TrustPilot.

Great advice... but was after some personal experience with it rather than marketing blurb trying to convince me to be a wannabe twitch streamer

Not that good for a mic, I used it and mates could tell I was away from the mic so have to shout to make it clear, unless you stroll it across the floor to reach you each time you use it!!
Mines just propped on top of the TV for when I go into VR

Why do you have no interest in VR?

Why do you have no interest in VR?

No idea on him personally but for me none of the games are games I’d buy if they weren’t on VR. It still seems like a gimmick to me and having tested a few of the titles for it I can happily say I wouldn’t want VR until it’s got many more full length titles that I’d want to play even without VR.

Fair enough. Its rare in my experience that people who have tried it still think its a gimmick.

What games did you test? One of the first games I tried was Resident Evil 7 and for me that alone is a system seller. I couldn't go back to playing it on a normal telly after experiencing it in VR.

I went round a mates and played VR Worlds. Immediately I went from "Fad" to "the future of technology". It just feels so right, like this is how games should have always been played.

I bought it with Skyrim and Resident Evil 7 and both and fantastic with the VR. I

I really hope game devs keep going with it. Gta6 in VR would probably see me turn my back on the real world.

Yup the Battle zone demo did it for me, I was instantly convinced too, even with the limitations of the current gen. I hadn't even considered GTA for VR, but yeah it'd be bananas jumping off a skyscraper and parachuting to the street in VR !

I’ll admit Resident Evil is half decent but it’s definitely not a system seller. I tried batman, farpoint and Robinson the journey.

Different strokes I guess, though RE7 VR is a different beast to the standard version, especially when you have those moldy bastards looming over you :). I haven't tried Robinson but I heard it's a bit duff. If I was showing someone PS VR for the first time I wouldn't choose that.

Makes me motion sick and always seems to push my glasses to much into my face! I've played the Rigs game but couldn't last more than about 5 mins without wanting to hurl! I'd buy it for 'walking sims' but action games are too much

I didn't have to do it myself, but a lot of people get their 'VR legs' by playing it in short bursts so that they get used to it. Not ideal I know but if you're ever tempted again you could try that way?

Outside of VR it essentially serves no real purpose unless you're a gadget freak or an idiot.
