Thanks for both the answers. It was for someone's birthday so I had to buy it then. Seriously good offer now though.
Cold, isn't RRP and doesn't come with 0% APR credit.
nice one
Tesco rules as always!!!

If you can't afford something maybe you shouldn't buy it
Hmm nothing special IMO unless you really must have that 2 year guarantee. Anyone who really wanted a PS4 at this stage (or an Xbone for that matter) would surely have picked one up when the far better £314 deals were going on.

Unless they were waiting for pay day.

Like me >.< anyone know the now cheapest price for a xbox one? (Already have a PS4 so no hating :L)
Good for the two year guarantee! I'd be almost in tears if I had one die just out of the 1 year warranty. I remember my 360 died less than a week before it was about to run out
I was about to buy the ps4 last weekend with the 10% discount off. Put the funds into my account and the code was no longer in use from it exceeding the number of times offer being used. Was gutted. My fault from umming and arrring with this or the watchdogs pre order console. I know that tescos to pre pay so would have been better to have got the game separate on same order though. Now it's like £15 for my considering of what to buy

I'd recommend a credit card for those cases.. Pay 314 on it, then settle it on payday

That's assuming you've got a decent'ish credit history and you can trust yourself with a credit card of course!

My X360 died over a year after the warranty expired and Microsoft replaced it FOC for me.

2 year guarantee makes this a great deal! By then there will probably be a slim model with 1TB which people will flock to anyway. May just have to buy my self one before during E3.

I doubt anyone does because it seems for each Xbox deal that appears on this seems to go cold.

I think it depends on the error, if it was RROD they extended the warranty period as that was a wide spread issue (Could you imagine the PR if they hadn't!). My disk drive failed on mine which was just plain unlucky Then the new one sounded horrendous, I had to crank the volume up to drown the noise out. I jumped at the 360 s when they said its silent haha.
10% off as well if you're a Tesco employee which takes it down to £296. Great deal for me!

I'd leave it a little while because if this story about xbox1 production halting is going to happen then there might be another price drop.
Even though it's obviously not as good as the £314 deal this is still a relatively good deal for those that are looking for a PS4 and likely won't find much of a better deal any time soon for a PS4 on it's own.
Not voting on this one as I picked the previous offer up ........£346.50 with watch dogs is damn good if you ask me

What an odd analogy.

Here we go again.

I love it that people can't fathom why you should buy something on 0% credit despite the fact you may have the cash in your draw.

THINK
Oh, by the way, Tesco Fleetsbridge have 10 months interest free when spending over £400 on electricals.

Add a game and extra controller which you'll need anyway and it's 0%

2 year guarantee makes this a great deal!

Agreed. Given Sony's consistent reputation for releasing unreliable home console hardware (original models of PS, PS2 and PS3) I know I'd want a minimum two year warrarnty if buying this first iteration of PS4.

So far the PS4 has been pretty solid in terms of reliability, sure people have experienced problems naturally but the percentage is very low.

Apart from the issues affecting a good number of first production run PS4s it would appear the console is generally more durable than all of their previous launch model home consoles.

However, the two year warranty of this deal is still absolutely worthwhile for peace of mind, in my opinion. The PS4 hardware, while comprising of little more than mid-range PC components, has been packaged in a particularly small form factor, i.e. its case is rather small so, by definition, keeping it sufficiently cooled will be more challenged relative to a PC or even the less powerful Xbox One which, for all its faults, at least comes in a sizable case. That's a longwinded way of speculating that PS4 in its current form factor may not prove to be the most durable of products over the longer term so having that two year warranty is very much welcomed.
