For anyone that has just purchased a PSVR courtesy of a hotukdeal, like me, this seems to be an awesome price for the navigation move controller. I'm not going to lie, I don't know exactly what it is for compared to the normal move controller but it seems very cheap compared to Amazon and ebay prices!

OP you might want to try and track down one of these, works really well with PSVR

Still trying to work out why I need / bought it. This is the official blurb. The wireless and untethered PlayStation Move navigation controller is a must-have for core gamers. This supplementary controller adds directional buttons, an analog stick, and two shoulder buttons into the PlayStation Move's control scheme. Used in most of the PlayStation Move games that require navigating an in-game character, it replicates the control features of the left side of the DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller into your PlayStation Move experience.

Can you use this for the PSVR? I thought only the main move controllers (the one with the light ball on top) were compatible ?

You've wasted your money. While technically the controller will work with VR, there's no real support for it and without a light on it like the other move controllers, tracking will be crap to non existent

You can, but almost no game uses it, most of them uses dual moves.

I'm not sure if these work with PSVR as I think that only works with the move controllers with the light on top.
These function the same as the Wii Nunchucks (albeit wirelessly) with certain games on the PS3.

Yep 0 support for this on the psvr

I still have mine from the PS3 and it's no good

So assume RE 7 won't use them? So I can either cancel or sell them on ebay....

But agree I'm not mistaking this for a normal move controller.

what if I stick an led bulb on it?

RE7 doesn't support move controllers in VR

You better cancel that order as they're worthless

Showing as in stock but back up to £17.70. I'll keep the two I ordered and stick them on ebay, they're selling for over £10 each, and put the money towards the actual move controllers!

I do believe there is some frothing involved with it

Full fat or Semi?

Might be possible to use on Google Cardboard VR. If not automatically found by your android device, then the Six-axis app might work (requires rooting though).

I use mine with SCP Toolkit (to provide Windows drivers) and XPadder to remap the analog stick to WASD so I can use it as a one handed controller with a mouse. I find WASD gives me hand cramps and RSI whereas controllers do not.

CEX sell these for £4 and probably have a gazillion of them although they have no use in PSVR. (only full size move controllers are supported)

Similar to that yeah, used a Wii Nunchuk for movement before with GlovePie, but want to try it with the Navigation controller since there's more buttons available

Reloading by shaking the Nunchuk horizontally is quite satisfying, or meleeing with one swift strike downwards for example.

That sounds awesome! I've got to try that! Thanks for the info and idea, I'll let you know if I get anything working.

I haven't used it for a while, but was talking to a friend who was trying to get used to WASD after console gaming, and it reminded me of this. It was temperamental, it takes a bit of fiddling with the sensitivity to detect movements accurately, but it's worth persevering with it X)
Once you get the movements sorted, it's just a case of assigning them to a keystroke.

I did have a go at getting "lean" assigned to tilting the nunchuk, but i was a step too far for me.
