Anyone with OLD Move controllers bought replacement batteries before? I've got three of them and they ain't holding a charge.. so I'm dipping my toe in. Under 7 quid, shipping from Hong Kong
Wont last long, nice one OP
The amazon one lasted under 2 hours... Let's see how this one lasts
Looks stock finally hitting uk outlets
Game have them too for £79.99 plus £5 postage
I’ve got like 4 of the original PS3 ones - aren’t they the same? Pretty sure I read that they’re compatible.

These used to be a fraction of the current price so £69 is a ripoff for me, especially considering the tech is so old. Less of a ripoff than Ebay/Amazon etc., but still a ripoff.
Many thanks for posting - Heat given
What else do you need to be able to play Just Dance (is PS4 Pro compatible?) My brothers kids seem to be very keen on it

Yeah I've done it on one of mine. It's not a hard job to replace them, a bit fiddly but if you're OK with a small screwdriver, you'll be OK.

They aren't the same but they are compatible. Your older ones are the V1 models, work with the PS3 and PS4, have a slightly smaller battery (1350 mAh) and a mini USB charging port.

These newer V2 models only work with the PS4, have a larger battery (1950 mAh) and a micro USB charging port.

As far as the PS4 and VR are concerned, they work in exactly the same way.

Are these only worth getting if u have PSVR setup?
In my opinion, With PS5 on the way I don't think it would be a wise decision to buy such an accessory now.
68.80 on Amazon now

As PSVR is already confirmed PS5 compatible, it would be safe to assume these will be too.

Moreso hoping it'll work haha. I'm not bad, DIY wise I replaced the screen on my OLD 2009ish LG GW620 I believe it was, slide out keyboard.. nightmare.. and it worked fine thereafter plus I've gutted a few other devices here and there and replaced the battery on the old Nexus as well so that should be easy enough. Can I report it with a modern USB though?

You mean change the charge port from mini to micro USB? Not unless you can do really fine soldering as it's on the main board.

Battery swap worked for me OK so sure you'll be fine.

I'd say yes, there's little or no non VR games on the PS4 that use them afaik.

It's possible that the Moves just need to be reset. I thought the batteries on mine had died too as they wouldn't charge up, but I checked online, pressed the reset button on the back, and voila, they charged fine again.

Can you use them as s*x toys and do a few cam shows online and make a few quid during quarantine?
I want to know why suddenly these are difficult to buy?

Classic demand vs supply
Why Smyth don't offer any cashback like TCB or Quidco?
I buy quite regularly so this will be really help if someone can share any little bit extra saving tip.
Thanks
