He’s lying. He’s not just paid but paid a week ago or something.

Please be more accurate
Really expensive for slow servers and terrible Indie games.

I really think @F.D. should be more responsible and provide an answer to your question.

Good price. My Ps+ has just expired and even at this price I'm probably not renewing it. The games they give 'free' are cheap anyway and as soon as the membership runs out you lose access which when halfway through a game is a bit annoying

But when you renew you get access to all your previous games back. Mine expired just after I downloaded the may games from ps plus I renewed on 1st July got the June games and then the July ones a day later so saved nearly two months and didn't miss on any PS plus and my library since 2016 is still intact
Is this DLC?

It's 2019 now... are you still in 2013?
Something funny is going on... The amount of PS plus deals recently is most unusual. I want to know what they're planning for PS5, because I'd put money on it that these deals are something to do with it.

The service has got slower, the games poorer and the cost higher while PC gaming is now super simple and I can already stream 4K games to an Nvidia Shield for free (and half the console cost)

Have you considered maybe you're the guy stuck in the past?

Nope, seems to be you.
But it looks like your a PC gamer so not sure what your experience of PSN is. But in the last 5 years I've been using it has been best perfect. Rarely offline, sub 10ms ping times and faultless online play.
Games download from PSN at the full speed of my 350Mb Internet.
In the PS3 era it was a bit ropey.. But it was free at the time.

Had been using PS+ since inception on PS3 up until a couple of years ago when I found I wasn't even bothering to download the PS+ games, I was downloading less that 0.5MB/s on a 200MB line, no idea about ping but it seemed okay. I'm not accusing you of lying but even my work which is actually on an internet backbone doesn't get brilliant speeds.

I still use PS4 for some offline exclusive (or rarely cheap) games but mostly use a combination of streaming on NVidia Shield from Now and from a home PC with some old 360 controllers.

No monthly cost, cheaper games, faster downloads, bigger game library. You can even play virtual couch coop with strangers for games you don't own.

Hopefully some of newer streaming services will become Netflix for games and render consoles obsolete.
Game streaming is definitely the future maybe even now. Who wants to pull out for a new pc or console every few years? When you can play at 4k resolution high end graphics for £8.99 per month 109 a year if you have a resonible connection. Makes absolutely sense to me unless your pirate.

I’ve just been chatting to someone on the shopto chat as I didn’t receive a link to download the code. I’ve since found out it’s a physical copy and I’ll have to wait a few days for it to arrive in the post. My lads gutted lol.

Amazon usually have a 15 month PS+ deal on Prime Day, last year it was £34.99. I'm guessing the current crop of deals is retailers trying to grab some sales before Amazon's better deal turns up on the 11th of July.
Amazing how Sony managed to turn PS+ into a must subscribe service on the PS3, to barely a former shadow of itself and hardly worth the money on the PS4. As much as I love my PS4 I really hope Sony gets an ass kicking next gen like Xbox had this gen and maybe they will start giving us actual value for money again
Thanks, OP! I was looking for this for some time already
Currently showing as £39.85 for me... am I missing something (voucher code?) or is the deal expired?
