Should be part of ps plus since they dropped vita and ps3, or at least discount it for ps plus members
Weird how this is getting freezing cold, whilst Google Stadia is hot, for twice the price for the initial outlay, and then twice the price again for 12 months.
£5 a month for streaming PS3 and some PS4 titles is good value so voted hot from me. Same reason as op, it gives me a chance to play red dead before number 2 comes over to PC.

'up to 720p resolution', the future is here or to be more apt, now.

That's streaming, you can download for 1080

I'm a PC Gamer and it gives me the chance to play titles I wouldn't have had the chance to like The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption.

They stopped giving us a couple old free ps3 games a month so we should get access to PS Now and it's 600 game library that gets many more PS4 games added each month than we got free PS3 games each month? And to have the option of streaming them all which isn't cheap either?

Some people are just overly entitled I guess. I mean when PS+ came out they only gave 2 free games a month anyway, and thats what they're offering now too.

Another way to look at it is that you're literally saying that because Sony removed a part of a £40 service you're saying they should give us an additional £80 service to compensate? lol

This is not a good deal as ps now is terrible compared to Xbox Gamepass and you can get 12 months for under £50
Can you copy over save data over from the PS3 & play it on the PS4?

If you you read my post I said either add it or discount it. Nothing to be “entitled” about, we pay for a service then they put the prices up to £50 and reduced the overall package. This PS Now deal is for £60, get your numbers right before trying to be smart about it. I suspect that the PS Now library is still largely PS2 or 3 titles, so broadly older games anyway. By the looks of things the even the PS4 titles are knocking on a bit.

I doubt that they are struggling that much to offer a combined package.

Move along. Lol

Via PS Now yea but you need PS Plus to access the cloud saves.
Why is this getting downvotes? You can download games now.. Much cheaper than the xbox alternative. Sure that has the exclusives day 1 but apart from those 2 games a year you get older titles like this just not as many and a lot more expensive.

Thats opinions. You also cannot get gamepass yearly for under £80. Not to mention Gamepass has 100 games, PS now has 750. Sure you get 2 Xbox exclusives per year but honestly is it worth losing out on 650 games for those 2 new games a year? PS+ now lets you download PS4 titles too so its not an issue.

Agreed 100% plus google Stadias sub only gets you a couple of titles each month ala Xbox live and PS+

£80 I don’t think so it’s £1 for the first month then you can get 12 months from amazon or cd keys for way less! PS Now you do not get any new Sony exclusives and those titles that you seem to think are so great are just old rubbish ones!

LOL @ old rubbish ones that again is an opinion. Game pass apart from the 2 a year MS first party games you get are pretty much the same games. Apart from WAY less of them. (like 650 less)
It’s not an opinion it’s fact ms don’t want to waste our time with old titles that we won’t play they are giving us first rate releases that are worth the membership!
If you wanna go toe to toe with titles I’m happy to accept the challenge compared to PSNow! I even own both consoles and only use PS4 for the exclusives as ps plus is also rubbish!

I remember when Ps Plus started you got a psn game, 2 minis and a psone game each month for £40 a year and I thought it was a great deal back then. Especially when you got nothing from Microsoft for the live subscription.

10 years or so later and the price of plus is still the same. (if you pay £50 your doing it wrong, especially if you're on this site) and you get discounts on stuff, 2 free games which most people don't play if they are honest and free dlc occasionally. I am happy with what I get for my 11 pence a day.

I do think they could add PS Now as part of a higher their subscription though as I realise that Sony have to pay companies money for their games to be included as part of the service.
I own both consoles also and have to say that Game Pass isn't amazing, saying Microsoft don't want to give us old games isn't true as they have quite a lot of 360 games on there.

Sure they have given us Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3 but damn those games were pretty underwhelming and definitely weren't first rate titles.

Both PS Now and Game Pass have their strengths and weaknesses but it all comes down to gaming preference as both offer a range of different titles.

Oh and Game Pass is £34 for 6 months on CD Keys

Also can you game share with downloaded & streaming games? I game share with my brother so my primary account is on his PS4 so can he also play the games?
Ps now will most likely die in a few years anyway. It's not super succesfull, they have already given up on putting PS2 classics on there last release of PS2 classic on ps now is last year summer. Btw I think Google stedia will most likely fail as well or it will be abandoned in a few years like the massive amount of other products Google had so much faith in

I can’t see PS Now failing as it’s the future of gaming, after PS 5 Sony will not be using optical drives. Just because it isn’t as successful now, doesn’t mean it won’t be in the future, it just needs to be pitched correctly.

I believe the answer to that is yes. He'd have access to PlayStation Now because of your primary account on the PS4. It does have full details on the PlayStation Now page.

PlayStation Now funnily enough has the highest market share and is the most successful of all the streaming / subscription services. Just because people on here love Game Pass doesn't mean the rest of the world does. If Game Pass was very successful would they offer it £1 every other week?
Personally I have neither and while Game Pass does give newer games at times, it has far fewer games overall and rotates them out very quickly. I'd be more inclined to get Now for that price for the sheer number of games.
As for Stadia, your guess is as good as any. Really depends on publishers and their support.
