I love sony but I really think they should take some notes from Microsoft and make PS Now a service like Gamepass and put all their first party games on there

That's a big drop from when I started it just over a year ago when it was 4+ games a month. Definitely feels like a ps+ 2 now.

This is Japan’s PS now offering, EU may be the same but hasn’t been released yet. Last month was 8 games. I paid £30 for 12 months, control, shadow of the tomb raider, spiderman, evil within 2 alone were worth my £2.50 per month, anything else that comes along is a bonus.

Horrific month. Considering they’re replacing Spider-Man

Meh, considering it’ll be free to claim on pc seems a bit of an easy cop out for Sony

You cannot play PC games on PS4, can you? I do have a PS4 to play games and laptop barely runs any games. Considering the asking price for PS Now which can be easily obtained for £39.99 from Shopto or CDKeys or even £20 on eBay, I'd say there is a lot of value they are adding to it. Yes, they are not recently released titles, but they are also not undiscovered titles too. Both Watch Dogs and SFV are well-heard, well-known titles.
Not sure I'll bother with WD2. last time I tried to play it on PS4 it ran like hot garbage.

The cold, sad fact is that they don't need to...
Microsoft are behind so they need to tempt you over with better value services.
Sony are already making huge piles of money out of their 1st party titles so they only need to put the occasional exclusive in when they want to sell more subs.

It's not terrible by any means, but it's a bit rubbish compared to Spider-Man.

It was my own fault as I just assumed it would be a first party game rotation and I was hoping for Days Gone to replace it.
That's shockingly bad. Thought Sony replace 1 exclusive with another?
I’d wait for a confirm, at the moment this is speculation? These games have been up for hours on the Japanese store.
Cant wait for the entitled £3 a month subbers who will cry they didn’t get days gone or RDR2

I also heard the rumours. The source who spread it is well known for misleading people in every other way too. it would’ve been awesome if it was days gone but sadly rumours are not always true.

If you haven’t played WD2 it’s actually really fun, I bought it on release and enjoyed it. It’s a fairly easy platinum trophy too if you’re a trophy hunter.

Both are really good games but I own them both so a bit disappointed. Game Pass is better but costs twice as much so fair's fair I guess. I've got enough value out of PS Now compared to what I paid so I'm happy but it would be nice to get something more recent.

The Star certainly thought Days Gone would be in there (along with Fallout 76)
TBF, RDR2 has been in Game Pass for 2 months now... It wasn't beyond all possibility It's a good title to have in a sub too - it takes soooo long to play through, it's unlikely that people will finish it within a single month.

WD2 is bad timing if true - Epic have just cheapened that title.
SFV is considered a "generous demo" - fun for 5 minutes but you'll need to get your wallet out to make it a complete game.

I did heat the deal though, despite the above (and already owning WD2)…
A year cost me £35 of PSN credit (which cost me a lot less in real money), shared by my Game Share buddy, so I don't have major expectations from the service

But why would they now? Have you seen how well their first party titles sell atm?

Reddit forums have been saying days gone for months lol! I honestly have no issue with any of the PS plus or PS now games that come on, when you break it down you’re paying a very small monthly fee for the service. We all hope big titles come on there of course but in reality if big titles are what someone wants they should just purchase and enjoy them. All the game pass comments make me laugh too. If it’s that much better people should cancel their subs and move to Microsoft. If Spotify took off all my albums I listen to and Apple didn’t, I wouldn’t continue my subscription there then moan that Apple are better. I do genuinely enjoy reading these threads on plus and now games, especially the plus ones, I just don’t know what people expect from the service.
I do have a soft spot for PlayStation Now, it's a great service. You do need a stable internet connection for this though.

Didn't noticed the first comment that this was Japan's. Still hope then. Yea Control & Spider-Man was the best ones for me.

It's a shame they seem to have abandoned adding older PS3 games as it's the only way you can play them on PS4 and most likely future generation consoles.

Game Pass is very good... so I have that too Playing through Thronebreaker atm

I have zero brand loyalty, beyond what I'm "tied in to" (my large PSN library) but Game Subs like GP & PS Now remove that tie - if you can pick up a 2nd hand XB1S for £100-ish, you can take full advantage of Game Pass and the endless introductory offers MS seem to throw at you.
They still let you convert up to 3 years of Gold over to GPU for £1 FFS! Why be loyal when that is on the table?

I agree with the older PS3 games for sure, damn I’d love dead space 1 and 2 on there, that would bring me more joy than pretty much any PS4 title hitting the service
Weak

Haha I agree! Game pass is awesome and I’d definitely sub to that if I was an Xbox gamer. It’s only really lockdown which has given me time to get back into gaming so I’ve been fully taking advantage of the sales, plus and now offerings!

PS Now streaming performance is the worst of the bunch atm - GeForce Now, Stadia & XCloud are way better.
If it weren't for the downloads, I couldn't enjoy the service.

I have tired XCloud and PS Now and they both work the same. Obviously on the Playstation you can download the games which is a nice bonus. Like I said it all depends on your internet connection. I did receive the fewest dropouts on the XCloud but not many games on there at this time, it's still in beta.

Yeah true, may as well keep it on the service considering sales have been exhausted.

They're probably still testing things out and looking at performances metrics

GeForce Now, Stadia & XCloud can handle 1080p streams well on my connection (~65mbps), while PS Now can't handle 720p streams without random direction sticking, input lag & blocking.
I have tried PS Now on my Pro (wired), desktop (wired) and laptop (5GHz) and it's never managed more than 5 minutes without some issue.
It's nice to know that it works well for some (the Sony datacentre must be very close to you) but most folk I've spoken to echo my experiences.
LOL they just deleted my previous comment because I said that 'Dead Space 1 & 2 would be a great addition to PS NOW' and that I'll S***T my pants. I better learn!

It's a rather weak month, butI don't understand all of this criticism towards PS NOW, especially because it still can be had on Ebay at £25 pounds. Hopefully Days Gone will be added next month

Me too, but we appear to be in the minority.
Not a great month for PS Now. I’ll give Watchdogs a try, and I’m sure SF5 will be short lived entertainment.
