Found 28th Jul 2017
Obviously not as good as Amazon price on the prime day but may be useful for those who want to renew before the price hike.

On the same page you'll also find PSN CARD £35 for £30.99

PlayStation®Plus prices are changing
From 00:01 BST on 31 August 2017 we are changing the prices of PlayStation®Plus.

- Annually, the price will change from £39.99 to £49.99 per annum.
- Quarterly, the price will change from £14.99 to £19.99 per quarter.
- Monthly, the price will change from £5.99 to £6.99 per month.

What this means for you

We will alter the price of a PlayStation®Plus membership at 00:01 BST on 31 August 2017. As you are an existing member, this means that all recurring subscription fees payable by you on or after 31 August 2017 will be charged at the new price. Up until 31 August 2017, you may purchase a PlayStation®Plus subscription at the current price, which will then be added (or “stacked on”) to your current membership period.

If you don’t want to continue with PlayStation®Plus

If you want to prevent your PlayStation®Plus membership continuing at the new price, you will need to cancel it – turn OFF “auto-renew” in your account settings at least 48 hours before your next payment on or after 31 August 2017 is due. There’s some guidance on how to cancel your membership on PlayStation.com.

There is already a thread for it, so I won't repost a new one. Hope this helps.
I don't normally buy anything in excess but I'm so glad i have three years of PS Plus stacked at the moment that's for sure

Although I think their site is getting a hammering at the moment.

No wonder they sent out a questionnaire recently about what we thought of Playstation Plus! I wonder if Microsoft will follow suit...
BubaMan

Lots of unhappy folk on that thread - this might be the better deal.

Reading the comments it's because they were waiting for a code to be sent to them which is not how it works. You click on your order in your profile and get the code in there. It boggles my mind how people failed to figure that out. Ordered mine and got the code about 15 minutes later - delay was due to how slow the site is right now, suspect they are getting hammered for the deal.

Agree with you. A £10 jump is ridiculous

No I've never had that, but I do know they are fully legit and you will get your code. Just contact them and say send the code or cancel and I'm sure you'll get your code quick enough!

Strange because I've also used them before for my PSN subs.

Very weird that they even ask for that, I agree!
G2A has £50 psn card for £32
Do people ever pay the RRP of £39.99 for PS+ in general? i'll always just searched for deals. I suppose it most likely go up by £10 in general across all retailers selling it sub £50 (i.e. £31.99 to £41.99)
Just bought, Thanks

I got asked to sent photo id last around 18 months ago as i purchased around 6 codes in 2 different trasactions as they were heavily discounted.
Spoke on live chat - was to prevent fraud and to check if i was possibly reselling them on as thats againsed their terms and conditions.

Send them photo of driving licence and had codes within 10 minutes.

Mine took half an hour to arrive.
Funny how they've pretty much offered average (at best) ps4 content for years, then have a decent last few months then hike the price. I got a feeling Sept/Oct games and onwards will be poor.

Remember to go into wallet and turn off auto add funds.
Sony make it the hardest thing to even log into your account online and mange auto update without having to google full details.

Sent them an email highlighting that the scan could be used for fraud and how email is not a safe channel to be sending such information. Gave them my phone number if they wanted to discuss it further..... code has just arrived
Showing up as £36.99 now
