Purchase a £35 PSN credit via CDkeys (using 5% discount) for £30.30. Then just pay the extra £2.50 when purchasing on your account. Total cost = £32.80.

The £50 one might also be worthwhile for anybody who'll use the extra credit. Works out at £43.75 but with £12.50 psn credit - not a huge difference but it's something.

IGN has a short guide on the subject.

Essentially, you set up the 2nd console as your "primary" and then your son can use their own PSN ID to log in and play your games (and take benefit of your subscriptions).
You can log in with your ID to set downloads going or you can set them downloading via the PSN website (downloads from the website will always go to your primary).
As you log into your 1st console with your own PSN ID, all your purchases will be available to you.

The minor drawback to game sharing is that you must be logged into PSN on your non-primary console to play your digital games... So if PSN is down, you can only play disc games.

How do you use the £35 credit from cdkeys against the 12 month psn voucher?

How do you use the £35 credit from cdkeys against the 12 month psn voucher?

You basically need to buy the £35 worth of credit at the cheaper rate direct from CDkeys, then redeem code on PSN to effectively top up to £35, you’d then just need to pay remaining funds from PayPal or debit card etc to complete purchase on PSN store.
Thanks for that but when I click get deal at the top of this page and then enter the discount code from cdkeys, it says code invalid

Just to check, you bought £35 credit from CDkeys right? If so, go to PS Store on your console and then head to ‘redeem code’ page
added, this came just at the right time as my sub just expired just last month.

I think you might have to log in from a web browser and the link for discount is clearly visible. Doesn’t normally work for me on mobile device or app.

A 12m code is £37.99 if anyone doesn't want to put their card details on PSN
Do they not get that 49.99 was never a fair price , never used to see so frequent deals when it was 39.99

Funnily enough, PSN is still free.

Not really. The only thing that matters (online play) is not free.
