CEX are offering £30.00 Trade in value, and Game beet CEX Prices by £1. So if you add the game to your CEX Basket online and print it off, then take this into your local GAME store, they will give you £31 Trade in value, with which you buy £30 PSN Credit from the shop.

On the Playstation Store a 90 Day Playstation Plus Sub is on offer for £7.99 as part of their 12 days of christmas promo, and these are stackable, so buy 4 for £31.96. Even if you dont have a spare £1.96 in your account, just add an extra $5 PSN Credit when you go into Game which will cost you £4.00, still an absolute steel at this price.

Hope this helps anyone, i have just done it myself.

So £21.96 then and not £20! You need to change the price as it is misleading.

HOT, but can't be bothered!

Long winded.
Too many if's and but's. It's not a set in stone deal.
If wishes were horses, beggars would fly.

**** that. That's long.

Hope they do a full year subscription cheap like 30 pound like last time! I'm running out

I mean sub 30 ^__^

Like I said, it's if your prepared to do the leg work. At the end of the day it boils down to a trip to Asda then to game, that's it, the rest is done online, and for the amount I'm saving its worth it. For most people they have a spare couple of quid on their account aswell.

I'll still heat it :')

No if's and but's, it's a guaranteed deal IF your prepared to go to 2 shops.

CEX can raise the price at any point.
CEX can also turn around and say 'oh we have no money today, come back tomorrow'. Tomorrow the price could drop like a stone.

The variable here is CEX. Far too unpredictable.

Get on it then, bargain. Mine was a 10 minute journey, that's it. Considering its normally £39.99 for 12 months, cheapest I've had before is £29.99.

As long as it's online at CEX the same day you print it off, it's all good. Also CEX now offer to pay it straight to your bank account if they haven't got the cash in the till.

unfortunately I dont think Game will honour. I took in WWE 13 on PS3 at the weekend and asked them to price match CEX, but they capped the trade in to £24.00 as thats what they sell the pre-owned for.
Good luck if doing it, but you may end up with a game you didn't really want and a wasted journey.

Original Poster

Game will honour as long as they don't sell it new for close to the price of trade in, and and if you don't want it CEX offer £28.00 cash.

Original Poster

And your still £8.00 up.

good find, well researched!!

My local CEX offer a BACS transfer now if they don't have any cash which is something that I prefer if I'm honest.

Original Poster

Exactly, think nearly all CEX are doing BACS now.

Every time i trade a game in at game for psn credit i get 33% extra as well

don't you get 33% more if you trade games for dlc codes of credit on xbox live or psn

By the way when does the offer end on playststion plus?

As my ex-girlfriend used to say "That's long".
