Helps me out :-)

I played about 26 hours of gaming since I got PS+ which was in November. 2014 was such a bad year for console gaming. 2015 better deliver..

For those that don't know you get the 5% off code by liking their facebook page (use safari or browser if your doing it on a mobile device)

wouldn't it be easier to just create an account yourself?

At what point does the 5% apply? I have a tick on the facebook logo at the top but when I go to checkout (normal or via PayPal) the discount isn't applied

When does the discount get applied?

I think you need to use the desktop version of Facebook - there's a link on the top of CDKeys page to get a code.

Don't forget to unlike them after so you can like them again at a later date

Great deal. Heat added - my PS plus ran out 2 days ago

Argh! I ordered this just over an hour ago from CDKeys and paid their full price (less 5% Facebook discount)

Used that one, so saved me from 'liking' the page. Cheers for that.

Yes it works on the desktop version of Facebook. You have to click the top tab on Facebook 'Click here to get 5% off!' enter your email, click submit and you will see discount code. You'll see an image like the one I've attached. Type that code in at the checkout of your purchase. The discount codes change often so I wouldn't bother trying to use the one in the photo.

Not everyone wants a Facebook account.

Cheers.... Still paying monthly like a forgetful idiot waiting for a deal :-/

Nice, thanks

FWIW, you don't even need to use your actual email either as the code is displayed on-screen

Have unliked and re-liked this many times for CDKeys and I've never had issues with them as a company

Heat added

not bad. and i didnt have to like them fbook.. liking stuff is a deal breaker for me. i know i can unlike stuff.. doesnt matter. principle.

p.s. hot.

Thanks OP-code worked!

Scorching, great deal. Bought 2 years worth.

Good price now that the PS4 IGC is starting to improve.

You guys don't actually have to like it you can just go to the page with the code

Perfect, thanks!

Yay! Cheers OP

Well as obvious as it is, I feel like you aren't being rhetorical so allow me to answer your original question.

Facebook is the most popular social media platform. You liking the page exposes the page to your network ergo exposure for CD Keys. As a 'quid pro quo' arrangement they give you a meagre 5% off your order for helping them out. It's rather simple really!

beast price, £32 for the online play and the games they give each month which are way better than xbox live golds offerings. No brainer!

Whats the current code as the ones that have been posted are invalid now

Bought 2 years, thanks!

Its a good price just don't agree with having to pay to play online once you add the cost of this over 3-5 years it starts to make the consoles not seems that great value.

I'm too much of a pessimist to do things like that. I'll probably be diagnosed with a tumour after 8 months of doing it. Or have a terrible accident meaning both of my hands have to be amputated.

Just be careful crossing the road, okay?

Then you will have far bigger worries than losing £60 mate.

...the free games?

Thanks, was actually looking for this today.

Can anyone confirm that if you already have an existing PS Plus subscription, will buying a new one and redeeming it add on to your current subscription? Or would I have to wait for my sub to end before putting a new one on?

They stack, so don't worry about adding them all at once.
