sorted byTo simplify - Ubi+ Classics is a perk for PS Plus second and third tier subscribers. It will start with 27 games in addition to what you are getting with PS Plus (somehow as some of the titles overlap) and grows to 50 by the end of the year. It is just like an extra benefit on top. (edited)
It will be full Ubisoft+ soon apparently:

Ubisoft + is coming to xbox...I think we'll get a deal similar to EA on Gamepass so base games only, probably announcing on the 12th
According to the announcement you will/should get the premium service until whatever service is longest so you would get it when your ps+ ends not when you ps now ends. Its also why they closed the loop hole to buy more now and not allowing to stack plus yet. (edited)
Yep, that’s how I read it too. Especially as they’ve created this Ubisoft+ Classics tier.
Same, don't get why they can't just keep it simple like MS
Looks like it'll be a two tier thing like EA used to be Classics included in the PS Plus extra and an extra sub for the full Ubisoft+.
Still, it helps make the extra tier a bit more appealing.
This is from Sony's website
'If you are subscribed to both services when the new PlayStation Plus launches, you will be migrated into the PlayStation Plus Premium membership plan and you will have a new single payment date based on the longer of your two subscriptions. You will be notified via email of your new payment date and subscription fee'.
They plugged the stacking loophole recently but if you already have those subs active on your PSN account you will be fine (edited)
Fair enough, that is a decent addition. I already own pretty much every Ubisoft game I'd want, so not a huge pull for me, but I'll have premium until November as I had a Now subscription, so I might be able to play whatever their big AAA winter game is this year
i see! cheers for that makes much more sense now
Same bud. I'm just going to wait a few months while the dust settles before deciding what to do. I like physical games so am likely to stick on the basic package.
Not quite what was meant, Ubisoft+ will be a paid for sub, while Ubisoft + Classics will be part of PS Plus Extra/Premium starting with 27 games and growing to 50 by year end.
That's how I understand it. (edited)
I think you might get longer than August at the top tier. Sony have released info on this previously.
Thank you much appreciated
Thank you for this that's great. I really appreciate you taking the time to find that for me. All the best.
I was just about to comment on this! Not just the planned remake, but the original games. I don't mind if I have to stream them (if they can't be downloaded), but I'd love to be able to play the original trilogy of games (Splinter Cell 1, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory) on my console without having to have an Xbox.
I know they're available on PC too, but I want the console experience.
What county does cheap ps plus premium tier ?
Argentina or somewhere in Asia eastern Europe or Africa ?
Already planned for Xbox, at least the classic tier is last I heard
Yep
They are not mutually exclusive and this is only the classic tier not full on ubisoft plus. It is still rumoured to be coming to gamepass
I already pay for PS Plus and PS Now, and while these classic games are welcome, I can't see myself shelling out for yet another subscription.
This is coming to game pass anyway, unless sony are buying ubisoft !!!!!
Okay !!!!!
NOW is not only streaming you can often download them to.
Same here as there are several top games on that list I want to play hopefully before they remove them too! (edited)
I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say "when I try a game I get error code" - you'll need to be more specific about what you're trying to do and what error you receive - but at this point, don't worry too much about trying to understand the existing PS Plus and PS Now services. The options change substantially from 22 June, following which there will be three tiers available, Essential, Extra and Premium (the "Deluxe" alternative to Premium isn't relevant for the UK) - see the link below for some detail.

This is correct, you will be on Premium until your PS+ expires.
Turkey won't get the Premium tier so if you want streaming etc you need a country that can, and you can't currently stack subscriptions.
