PlayStation TV - £25 - Asda Downpatrick

Walked into my local Asda and seen about 6 or 7 of these discounted to £25. Seems like a steal. No receipt because I didn't purchase one.

good find
Good find, heated OP, I'll have to check my local.
I would probably go for it at this price... Remember though if you want it for vita games the sd card prices are still a joke which ruins the experience as you'll be deleting games and re downloading them all the time
Was this a manager reduced price or shelf label price?

It was just in a bargain basket with the sign "clearance" above it.
Not a bad deal; as above remember you need a memory card (which is proprietary and is stupidly expensive especially when compared to SD). Managed to trade my PS4 camera for one of these and am yet to play anything as I need a card
Bargain at this price, would snap one up myself.
Apparently there is a really easy mod to unlock it so it plays every Vita game also.

Don't the game packs regularly go on sale for £15 and they come with an 8gb memory card?
Not at my local store -£45 still

Think of it as the internals of a PS Vita that your plug into a TV and use an external controller with.

Assuming there isn't any money in component cables any more as that enabled me to use my PSP on my TV and play 100% of all games.

A HDMI/Component Cable and the ability to pair a DS4 with a Vita would have been a winning combination.
with the price of the memory card's they should be giving them free with eatch 64gb card
I went to the South Shields ASDA there full price :-(

Ok thanks for that . Can't think of a vita game that I'd want to play on a ps4? Shame it's not the other way around and you could play ps4 games on the vita on the move
This is a poor product. Hence the price.
Got this, doesn't work very well, massive motion blur
Just don't. do not. don't. its not. don't even think. bad bad bad. no no no.
Why not? Cheap option to play ps1 classics?
If anyone wants one but can't get one local, I still have the one that came with my ps4 unopened.I'll never use it, I'll be happy to post it to sell on here if there's interest.

The idea is that you connect it up and it allows you to play the PS4 on another screen, when your primary telly has been taken over by a significant other.

People's experiences have been from 'no problems' to 'It's sh1t" so YMMV and the only way to find out is try one for yourself and as an alternative....£28 @ CEX.

Unfortunately the latest firmware update seems to break this (that's what happened with me at least). And you are forced to do a system update when you are first setting up the device. So unless you already have one setup on an earlier firmware you are out of luck on this front.
