Anyone know if Sony are planning a PS4 Pro, VR bundle for Christmas?

Do you need the camera if you just want head movement? i.e. for a racing sim to look around

That's a good call, hopefully the stock levels don't go up too much so I can still get a bit more. I nearly bought it from shopto as they have them in stock but not at this price

Likely to sell fast. Stock levels are reported as being low in the UK.

I know its a bit like chalk and cheese, but is this 60 times better than Google cardboard? there doesnt seem to be that many actual games for it

I'm sure the camera is not optional

Dammit, wasn't planning on purchasing this... but you've forced me to make a purchase! Not sure whether to thank the OP or not? Haha. Thanks!

No. Only 52 times better. It's better than both chalk and cheese though.

It had the most 'gameplay experiences' of any VR hardware release, and given that it's Sony, you can expect a lot of integration going forward. Not that I want VR at all, so no bias here.

Haha i'll be blaming myself if I don't like it either. I'm sure the resale value wont make this too bad for now even if its a little bit of a loss. Enjoy

Heated for the price, but damn when you have to pay for a peripheral than the flippin' console you have to question it's worth.

Check Amazon Warehouse deals vigilantly. I got one for £240 in total because it had a damaged box.

You should budget for a bucket too, for the motion sickness.

I have been waiting for these to be back in stock, double staff discount this week so it's a bargain!

I have the gear vr (s6 ) which has some impressive little games and some great experiences like vtime. And whilst I was initially disappointed the psvr graphics the scale and production of the experiences Is night/day batman probably the best example just too short. Headmaster is great fun. Personally I couldn't wait but my advice would be wait for a lower price and more games as apart from battle zone there are no full length titles. Saying that it's definitely the future.

What has been your favourite game so far?

call me a party pooper, but i'm waiting to see if sony progress VR beyond a fad phase.
are there any meaty games worth playing in VR yet? the reviews for that Driving club or whatever it's called are very poor.
my fear is that this is the new wii..
