So who's as crazy as me?

I got my £250 PSVR and tried the touted (on hotukdeals) £15 switch and guess what... no pass through and so I'm finished with CUH-ZVR1 and your shoddy HDR workarounds...

All you need is a replacement plug for the switching power supply.

You are buying a Mature game... How many 18 year olds do you know that are mature? That's right, the game case will even be better...

So I'm paying a £50ish premium for the V2 but I will shift the move controllers and "may", you never know, get my import duty back (about £60 but not counting on it).

Hell, by the time it arrives the V2's will be out here but probably a Doom pack without move controllers for £350

Isn't the PSVR v2 bundle including camera, VR Worlds and Skyrim (or GT Sport) already available everywhere for £250 RRP in the UK?

Sorry, I don't understand, but is this why you're saying you're crazy?

No V2 in the UK yet... you are buying old stock (Manufactured in June in my case) while Donald Trump gets all the new gear.

And that's without controllers. £300 from very with them. So it's £50 extra without VR world's but more recent headset. Sony is getting rid of old stock just like they did before ps4 slim and pro we're launched.

LOL! That is crazy and unfair. Lucky I haven't purchased one of the new bundles yet then. Thought they seemed like a good deal for a HDR compatible model.

Had already moaned to Amazon early last week that the one I bought last year wasn't HDR compatible with my Pro and they surprisingly agreed to accept it back for a refund of the £300 I paid back then.

Was hoping to get a v2 and sell the extra camera and games to save even more!

Lots of people are saying that the V2 fixes issues with drift that a lot of people have... may be crap but.

Also comments that Gamestop are going to sell this for $299 on black Friday so may have gone too early if Amazon.com match that!!

Heat added as technically this is the cheapest deal for the V2 model, I agree I had to sell my V1 because the HDCP is a killer.

I'd almost argue with Sony about getting a free upgrade as I didn't know it would break my use of my HDR but I don't think I'd get anywhere.

Subtract the value of the extras and that's not actually a bad price for V2 (especially if it fixes the drift issue), I don't think it deserves -94.

I'm hearing V2 will be in the UK in the next few weeks... might as well just wait a little longer.

Don't do it, just wait, you will be kicking yourself when your parcel is in customs at xmas and everyone else has gone to Tesco.

Is it really that much of a hardship to unplug the headset when you use HDR content? No way on earth would I be selling my V1 and paying extra for a V2 just for that! The V2 doesn't fix the drifting issue either, that's apparently crap.

Which games for the VR are out there you would recommend? Thinking about getting it, but not sure which game I should get for it and only money for one left ;-).

If you don't have RE7 you can pick it up for £15 and is a must.

I love Headmaster which I can go back to time and time again. Bound to be back on sale soon.

you wont get anywhere, I tried!
With a splitter the HDR issue isn't really that much of an issue

I was thinking that myself. Will be the fourth one in the house

I'm amazed so many people care about HDR. I barely use mine because it adds lag

are you saying the new v2 doesn't pass the HDR through? I rid of it as soon as I realised when it came out

What puts me off is you get better resolution on a Samsung S6, s7 or S8 using vr, the PS vr is 1080p halved into each eye piece lower resolution.

I see your point mate, but with the other devices you have mentioned the content is pretty naff and nowhere near the standard of PSVR games.
