If you've got enough to buy an accessory which is 1.5 times costlier than your console, I don't think 2p or 12p can do any magic for you... This is a cool piece of kit but it's extremely overpriced and Sony has a dark history with its gadget such as those ps move, ps tv, etc...
not worth getting as you need to have the PlayStation camera as well to use the vr system, so for people who haven't got the camera, it's extra cost just to get the vr system to work

Oh ok, I'll buy the Oculus Rift and a new pc instead.
For the love of God YES.....we know we can pre-order it!

Why on earth are people posting this nonsense!?
I'll stick with my oculus rift pre-order, as this is still better value for money in my opinion.
Careful, Once the PC Supremacists spot this thread it will be trolled to death
will be interesting to see how good this is, compared to oculus/hive etc considering the differences in power between ps4 and high end pc's, I hope it will be decent

Look how happy he is!! Bless.
Pay £400 to get eye damage and headaches no thanks.
I really want one but I know I'll never use it.

Rift comes with everything you need - Camera, Controller etc in the box.
With PSVR you need to buy the camera and Move controllers.

I think he makes a valid point.
dear god no, with sonys track record of gadgets i dont have high hopes for it. just like the vita etc if the sales aren't great they will drop it like a hot potato like most of their other gadgets

They barely support the PS4 and thats printing money for them so imagine how bad they will support this when it sells less than even the Vita.

Is this a magic-eye-style 3D image to replicate the quality of the VR? If I just unfocus... there, that's it.

The puff puff scene from DQ IX was the only demo available at that time.

LMAO, no that is magic-eye-style for the price.
Oh wow, was planning on paying £250 max... I think i'm gonna wait this one out
I think you get an extra processing box aswell for the psvr, wonder if devs could use this for better frames in normal/non vr games?

But people who already own a camera and move controllers will only need a PSVR, which is RRP 349.99.
Brilliant, through this I can finally turn all my nightmares into wet dreams.

On the flip side, Valve's customer service leaves much to be desired and HTC are on the brink of collapse. Oculus/FB are new to the hardware market - so they are untested.

Shopto can beat that, 8p off their bundle with the camera!
PlayStation VR headset
Processor unit
Stereo earbuds
HDMI cable
USB cable
AC adaptor and power cord
PS VR headset connection adaptor

So how does this connect ? Hdmi into the PS4 and then into the headset?

No, it's for reversing the VR stuff so it can be displayed on a tv. It's capable of 120hz anyway.

That's not quite true. Whilst it's likely most early games will be 60hz reprojected to 120hz, the panel supports 1:1 reprojection of 90hz at 90hz and 120hz at 120hz.
