Doesn't work for me. Must be account specific.
Worked for me, thanks OP!
That’s me switched from monthly. Thanks!
I tried the last time a code was posted but pled wouldn’t allow me to use it as a current subscriber
Not working here either...
It would work for me if I was interested on plex pass! (which I have no use for)

Edit: this also appeared on my announcements within the Plex browser page.

Plex any good? What do you get
I really want this but I keep on reading they removed features which doesn't make it worth while like it once was.
unless you want the DVR function theres very little else of benefit over the free version other than paying to support the developers and if your that way inclined you would want to pay them full price anyway wouldn't you?
Does plex have some kinda VPN service along side?
does it include Tidal?

Thanks op, didn't get it a while back when it was half price, so am glad to get a discount at all.
They've recently started a free movie library, but you get it as a free user too...

I got an email for tidal the other day so I would check your emails it was 5 months for £5. Well I did not used tidal for a few months so that's maybe why.

That's normal promotion right now. Not Plex related at all.

Oh yes. I was only writing it just in case he/she wanted to have tidal separately
not working for me either but it looks like a gift is £71
What benefit do you get from paying £71?

I have Plex running on a server and my TVs and Apple TV connect to and stream from it fine. What benefit is there from paying for a 'pass' ?
Worked for me. Been waiting for some discount before biting. Thank you very much!
Haven't used Plex in many, many years. So many free alternatives. Emby for example
Has anyone tried buying themselves a lifetime pass as a gift?

I’m almost 100% certain it doesn’t, it just gives you the DVR, syncing etc. Tidal is sadly extra but I’m happy to be shown I’m wrong, then I’ll definitely get it
Tidal is extra, similar to Spotify and Apple Music prices too. I have Plex pass but only use DVR which is brilliant I must add! Wouldn’t have it if it wasn’t for that!

Plex can do a ton of stuff, google plex benefits, but honestly most plex users don't need plex pass. The things it adds are all some degree of niche.
Is Plex better than Netflix?
PlexPass also enables hardware transcoding which can make a big difference depending on your hardware

If you don't know what it is then it most likely isn't what you need. It's not like Netflix, it's a platform to host your own content, you have to set up a server with access to your media and it serves it to your devices.

They aren't comparable products.

With Plex you set up a server and it serves your own media to your devices. E.g. I have TV shows, movies and music and I can access them from my TV or phone. So for me it's basically Netflix plus Spotify. But it only has the media I bought (or "sourced").

It does as of very recently include some free streaming like Netflix but the content is mostly obscure and low budget stuff from what I can gather. It's funded by ads.

If you are interested, you don't need the Plex pass to use any of this, it's all included in the free version. So you could set up a server etc. with your media and try it out.

Most likely it's not what you're looking for.
Well... That was an impulse purchase!.. guys I was watching for discounts for a few weeks now so maybe not!
Waiting for it to hit £59 again
great deal got it at last.
Only got this working by creating a new account and using it.

So much for being a valued Plex Subscriber.. cancelling my annual pass now.

I hardware transcode and I don't have a Plex Pass.
Code worked for me.
Also saved £2 by switching it to USD
You can use the USA site and buy as a gift. Then redeem the gift code to your existing account.

Comes to around £68 with revolut card or fee free card
